“I would come back to this hotel again.”

The Hotel had a complimentary breakfast which was quite elaborate and satisfying. The personel were professional, friendly and helpful. The hotel was centrally located near restaurants and eating places which were within easy walking distance.

“A little run-down, but friendly and affordable”

Everything important worked fine, but there's an overall impression of minimum maintenance done. But it was quiet, comfortable, and they got our reservations right. Our dogs were welcomed, and we had an excellent night's sleep. For the price, that's all I ask.

“Good nights rest”

From reading the reviews we expected the worst, but once we arrived we realized it wasn't bad at all. It was clean, spacious and had comfy beds. We would definitely go back.

“Small town charm in a hotel.”

Front desk personnel were extremely friendly and helpful. My room was all I hoped it would be. A pleasant experience all around.

“Clean, comfortable, reasonably priced.”

I spent just one night here with a couple of friends while we were passing through the area. We just needed a place to crash for the night, so we weren't looking for anything fancy. We wanted a room that was clean, decently comfortable, and reasonably priced. And that's what we got. We didn't use most of the facilities, since we checked in late at night and checked out early the next morning, but we did take advantage of the free continental breakfast, which was again nothing fancy, but had your basic breakfast needs -- oatmeal, toast, English muffins, coffee/tea, donuts, hard boiled eggs. The two staff members we spoke with were friendly and helpful. Would recommend if you're looking for a place to stay a night or two.

“Convenient, a good deal, and dogs welcome!”

I've stayed twice at this hotel. It's an older building with no frills but everything one needs for a couple of nights. The rates are good, the location (minutes off of I91) excellent, the manager present and attentive. The breakfast was appropriate for a budget hotel. I was able to bring my dog too (to the hotel, not to the breakfast!). I'll stay there again.

“Great overnight stop”

This is a place I have stayed many times as an overnight stop on my way to VT ski areas. While not a "destination" hotel, it is 100% suitable for an overnight stay. The rooms are large, with plenty of room to bring all your gear inside overnight. Having a refridgerator to keep your "drinks for the road" cold overnight is also a great plus, and the continental breakfast in the morning is enough to get you started without a long delay if you're looking to get back on the road early. There is enough in the immediate area (ie restaurants/services)to satisfy the average traveller - overall a great value for a very reasonable price.

“The Best it can be!”

This hotel was beautiful. Not overly expensive and it used to be another hotel so the entrance, was newly renovated and they were working on other parts...this will be a georgeous hotel when they are finished. Close to everything: food, bowling, downtown, and you can see the Green Mountains from the front facing rooms. The only negative comment is there is no elevator!

“Excellent for the price”

If you are looking for luxury, look elswhere. However if you are looking for a very inexpensive hotel in the Brattleboro area this might be the one for you. My room was small, clean and quiet. The staff was helpful and freindly. Conviently located near shopping and the highway, downtown Brattleboro is just a short drive. The internet connection was good and easy to connect to. The hotel could probabaly do with some updating, but it was not run down or dirty. My only suggestion would be that given the size of the room, perhaps some smaller furnuture would be in order, The dresser was huge and took up a large portion of the space, also the second chair was not needed. I would pass on the continental breakfast, the selection is limited, and to be honest .. not very good. Should you go to this hotel, keep in mind it is VERY inexpensive and what that means, but for the price I doubt you can beat it. I would most certainly stay again.
