So nice to be able to go for walks straight from the front door and an ideal spot for visiting Avebury and other ancient sites in the area. The owner was friendly and helpful. Would love to return."

"We really enjoyed our stay here, and would happily return. It’s close to both Marlborough and Avebury and there are lots of interesting walks from the latter. There’s a good pub within easy walking distance. Warm cottage, comfy large bed and a great shower. The host responded immediately to a question we had and was very helpful."

"Easter weekend was an absolute treat staying at this super cool, quirky and supremely comfortable cottage. We could not have asked for more. Brilliant hosts, fabulous décor throughout with wonderful touches and kind thoughts put into treats, flowers, attention to detail, super duper products……I could go on and on. 100% recommend for peace and quiet in a beautiful part of the country, we LOVED every moment as did our dog. Bathtub was incredible, we felt very decadent with our non-alcoholic fizz....

"I chose this property because of its proximity to Longleat and for the wonderful reviews. I add my own 5 stars as it is exactly what has been described. Several points to consider before staying is if you want to sleep in, bring an eye mask (I always carry one). There are a lot of windows but no darkening shades. Use google maps as my first attempt was made using the map on my iPhone and I ended up in a work zone. When I used google maps (which the owner intended) I had no problem. Also note try...

Due to a last minute family emergency Clea was incredibly accommodating to some late minute changes, which was very much appreciated. Would definitely recommend a stay if visiting the area."

The single bathroom was a little tricky to manage and for access so not so suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The garden was lovely and the cottage well equipped for our Easter short break. "This cottage was absolutely fantastic. The communication from the owners was great. The location was amazing. Very quiet with rabbits in the gardens and sheep in the field. A short stroll takes you into the lovely village of Lacock. The cottage was ample for the 5 of us with everything you need and very well stocked. we would most certainly book again. Thank you."
