"Missed the check in time for a 2 day stay basically i wanted to check in the second day before 3pm, and these guys were no help whats so ever"

"my room did NOT have air conditioning and the maintenance staff was unable to fix that, when i asked for another room i was told there no rooms available. The staff did not try to assist me in finding another hotel in Wilmington that was part of the Hilton Tapestry or any other accommodations. My weekend vacation, which included concert tx and dinner reservations; ended before it even got started as i was unable to find a place to stay . The Hotel Manager (Ronnie Salameh) was rude and acted as if he was the one that was inconvenienced....i used to stay here all the time....but something must have changed this year....i will NEVER book at the Ballast again."

"We loved the room. Everything was clean and neat. The common areas were awkwardly quiet. The reception area could have used some background music or even white noise. People who were there waiting on a high energy concert were speaking in hushed tones. For people who want a very serene atmosphere, this is it. Also, the pool area--while very clean--is virtually non-descript. Not inviting, echoey. But absolutely met the requirements, just no positive personality."

"An amazing property. Breakfast was great; the space in the room was excellent; laundry, gym, staff a blessing. Only point of criticism was the pool was a tad murky but still was fine to swim in! We will be looking to stay in this chain of hotels going forward if they are available and remain price friendly!"
