Location was definitely the best part of this place. Property was very convenient to Bucknell, which is why we stayed there, but it's definitely seen better days. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Beds were surprisingly comfortable, and room amenities were good; however, the bathroom was falling apart.

Property is a bit out dated, lobby smells a bit funny but staff is incredibly friendly and personable. Rooms are clean though furnishing is mismatched. Overall decent place to stay for the price!

Hotel is perfect for people on a tight budget!
The manager was fantastic. I wasn't able to get to the hotel on Tues night for check in. The manager waited extra time for me, and I didn't knew until I was able to check in late Wednesday night. The room was spotless. Bed and pillows were comfortable. The staff was great. Would highly recommend this hotel. Best part, price beat all the local competition.

The property was in a great location but is old and in need of some updating. The tub had patchwork done to it, sheets didn’t quite fit the bed, and the room smelled as though people had smoked thee in the past (when the smoke gets into the walls and the room just needs a good repainting).

Clean but extremely outdated
This hotel has the potential to be an amazing place. The location is fabulous with its proximity to Bucknell University. It is an expansive resort like property complete with outdoor pool. The front desk staff was friendly. The rooms were clean but in desperate need of a total remodel. The bed had only sheets and a thin outdated bedspread. No blanket. The towels were super thin and old. Cheap soap products. Light switches in the bathroom looked to be from the 1950’s. Vanity mirror was on the side, so unless you are extremely flexible you can’t utilize it. The room looked like a mismatched mess of furniture picked up from a yard sale. But, as stated before, the room itself was clean. It’s just sad because this place has the potential of being amazing.

The staff was above very pleasant went above and beyond and offered service for anything with exalent attudes a200tter than the place the night before also checked if we were ok that night and in am when they saw us outside also in am offered lots of help above n beond would referr others to stay there. Only disappointment was pool was closed but honestly we didn't have time to go in anyway we arrived late and left at check out also offered to make us coffee if we wanted it in am even tho we had some in our rooms

Our first room had some issues that they quickly took care of . There wasn’t any hot water for a shower

Thank You for your review, we do apologize for the inconvenience in your room. We addressed the problem as quickly as possible. As for the room not having any hot water. We did check after reading your review. And the room does in fact have hot water, but due to the hot water heater being on the far end of the building. It does take a couple of minutes to reach your room. We will be sure to mention this to future guests. Our lobby phone is available 24/7 to address any of our guests needs. I travel up here for work try to look for not to expensive places to stay this was cheap for the night ... When I got to the room and opened the door I was happy the room was very clean and nice looking for what I wanted the bed was very comfortable.. the only thing is the water pressure for the shower I guess I'm just used to Great pressure... I would definitely love to come here again to stay .... Happy I picked this place

The fan on the air conditioner worked but the condenser didn't. The room was uncomfortable. Also, the neighbor had the television on loud and the walls are thin. I contacted the neighbor and he threatened me. Not a good environment.

The only selling point of this hotel is proximity to the Bucknell campus. If you choose to stay, bring your own bedding and towels.

A bad makeover
The wifi was rarely working. The air conditioner never worked. There was no ice machine- you asked at the desk for ice, and they discouraged you from filling your ice bucket. The swimming pool had not been opened for the summer. No breakfast at all. The coating of the bathtub was coming off in the bath
