This is a lovely old restored home - VERY clean and comfortable, easy parking, and convenient location. Great value for the money.

It was a mixed bag for us:
Pros: easy check in process; excellent host who was friendly and informative; great breakfast each morning- simple but healthy and delicious; very comfortable bed and pillows; spacious room with sitting area; very easy access to W&M and Williamsburg.
Cons: shower was poor - just dribbles of water; lights on either side of bed did not work; cracked floor tiles in bathroom were concerning; some of the furnishings are tattered (minor issue); large cockroach greeted me at bedtime (bigger issue).
The B&B is in a great location for walking to the historic Colonial Williamsburg. No choices for breakfast, but excellent nonetheless. Host was super nice.
Beautifully appointed home ideally situated for exploring historic Williamsburg. Scott was so welcoming and helpful, and cooked a delicious breakfast for us in the morning. My only disappointment was that we were there just one night!
Magnolia Manor is a gracious home, albeit in need of some minor repairs - sticky door handles in particular. Scott is an outstanding host: accommodating and communicative. The breakfasts we lovely.
We stayed in the Magnolia suite. This was our first stay at a B&B, so we really had no idea of what to expect going in. Magnolia Mannor was a great place to stay. There is no desk check in, but Scott has everything ready to go for when you arrive. The house is beautiful, and the breakfast is a treat. I cannot say enough good things about the place.
I love staying here when visiting William & Mary. Scott does an amazing job of making sure the house is nice and cozy. The rooms are big and so are the bathrooms. Nice to wake up and have homemade muffins and breakfast sandwiches.
Scott was wonderful, easy check in/check out, clean and comfortable room. He even cooked a special gluten-free breakfast for my fiancée! Highly recommended!
We so enjoyed our stay at Magnolia Manor! Scott was an excellent Host and made the most delicious homemade breakfasts, gave great recommendations re: the must-see attractions in the area and directions to same. Was available for other queries as well. Our room was a blend of antique furniture (comfortable bed!) and modern bathroom. A/C & heat both worked well. Great ambience!
This was our first B&B stay. The house sits on a corner just a couple of blocks from William & Mary stadium. Although there was quite a bit of traffic and a home football game the weekend we stayed, we heard next to nothing! The bedrooms were very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. A con would be the wi-fi is very splotchy at best and I wish they had a small floor fan in each for a little air circulation but mostly for the white noise at night. Overall a great experience and I would recommend.
I had a great stay. Breakfast each morning was great. The owner was very friendly and helpful with advice about things to do in the area. The property was great and the rooms were nice with comfy beds. Great option if you want to explore the area. Dining options within walking distance and a nice walk over to the market shops at Colonial Williamsburg.

The location is great: a quiet, clean, safe neighborhood close to the historic part of the William & Mary campus. (If you arrive late at night/have to leave early in the morning the 24-hour WAWA is less than a 10-minute walk away.) The Manor is beautiful and cozy. I was very happy with my room and the thoughtful check-in instructions. Wi-fi works well! I didn't get to try the legendary breakfast but Scott was very accommodating. My visiting family was also very impressed! I would love to come back.
This cozy B&B is just around the corner from William & Mary and a short drive to Colonial Williamsburg. The rooms are spacious and the beds among the most comfortable on our month-long road trip. The breakfast is pre-determined (no menu) and brought in from a source off-site, but homemade and delicious. Owner Scott is enthusiastic and welcoming.
Magnolia Manor is a beautiful home located in a beautiful residential area adjacent to the the College of William & Mary and conveniently within walking distance of Colonial Williamsburg.
Accommodations were very comfortable and breakfasts (and snacks) delicious.
Scott was a terrific, congenial, informative host.
We loved the quaint and oh so Williamsburg environment. We we're close to everything. Scott gave us great suggestions for dining. Guided us to how and where to go for our visit to Colonial Williamsburg. The breakfast was amazing both mornings. We will definitely be returning for another stay in the future.
Will return again. The breakfast was fantastic and the owner, Scott was gracious and attentive. Our room was cozy and comfortable. would definitely recommend this B&B.
Magnolia Manor B&B was as advertised.....lovely, quiet, nice, filling breakfast, and comfortable bed. It was in walking distance to restaurants, William & Mary College, and Colonial Williamsburg. The host, Scott, was helpful and personable. Would definitely return!
We travel to Williamsburg to celebrate my 65th birthday and thoroughly enjoyed staying at magnolia b&b. We were upgraded to a suite which was absolutely huge and gorgeous. There was the opportunity to buy wine baskets which were extremely reasonably priced. Breakfast was fun as our host made jam filled French toast. Couldn't ask for anything more
This B&B is beautiful! Perfect stay for a visit to Williamsburg. Scott was a gracious host and more than willing to offer guidance for our day's activities. His enthusiasm for the area is contagious! Breakfast was delicious and made so you could grab and go or sit and linger. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Scott!
Lovely property and superb hospitality! Everything was perfection. Scott even made restaurant recommendation for a special anniversary dinner. We'll surely visit again!
We loved our overnight stay in this lovely home with its attractive and welcoming downstairs rooms; a comfortable, cozy bedroom and bath, and a delicious home-cooked breakfast the next morning.
Scott was not available at check in, so I called him. The room was not clean: dust and stains on furniture, walls, and shower curtains. The bed linens and towels all smelled like mold. There was only a small amount of soap in the soap dispenser and one roll of toilet paper. This place does not seem kept up or cleaned regularly. It’s as if he does the bare minimum to keep it going. There was a live air wig bug in the coffee pot. I would not stay here again or recommend this BNB to anyone.
