A lovely, traditional Swiss property. Everyone was very pleasant and made us feel at home. The location is perfect for exploring the nearby towns by train. Everything was perfect.

The room & area around the facility is good. The breakfast is excellent. However the internet connection was very weak & sometime i can’t connect at all. I would have given this place 5 if we can get decent Internet connection

Nice hostel Michelin rated
The room was cozy and clean with nice view. The breakfast was great ! The location help provided was very useful and the front desk was helpful and informative. The in-house restaurant was Michelin rated and the food was good ! Will stay again and recommend. Well deserved rating !

Reasonably priced hostel with the basics you'd need for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was just okay, not amazing as some if the reviews would make you think - they had a decent selection of breads and cheeses, and some healthy options like yogurt, flax seeds, chia seeds, but no fresh sliced fruits and veg. The main reason for rating this a bit lower is that I think the bedsheets/bedspreads in our room were infested with dust mites (there were no visible bugs). My husband and I woke up several times due to severe itchiness, we even developed some rashes that went away after an hour or so. We've never had this problem with any other place we stayed at in our Europe trip (and we stayed at 8 different hotels/hostels).

The accommodations were great! The staff was so friendly and helpful with all of our questions! The establishment was super clean and centrally located to everything. I would stay here again!

Good hotel with an outstanding breakfast
The room is pretty good, however, there's no blackout on the windows. The breakfast was surreal and the staff very friendly. The wifi was not working in our room. Maybe because it was quite far from the lobby.

It was beautiful and comfy! The only thing we didnt like was the hih price they charged us for water at dinner. But we had a very delicious authentis swiss breakfast and it was free with the room! This is a wonderful place to stay!

This B&B was a real surprise. The place was very cozy, clean in a quiet location. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was out of this world; a true homemade taste with top quality products. I will highly recommend it.

Watch out, there's two buildings
I saw a great deal with this hotel, but I didn't expect to be sent to another building they had right next door. I'm 6'4" and this building was almost touching my head, we had to share a bathroom and thin walls (heard my fellow neighbors). We asked the personal about tours, and they did not explain well, I just saw a lack of interest.

We enjoyed the buffet breakfast. We booked the hostel portion. As such, the room is a bit small but manageable. Shared bathroom but wasn't an issue.

Dear Alex Our Hotel consists of 3 Chalets, the main Chalet being a typical 400 year old Bernese Chalet and our room categories are very different from each other. You stayed in an economy room which reflects a low Price. Super that you enjoyed our buffet breakfast with fresh regional products. Come back again soon and check out all our room categories!

Nice but small room with shared bath.
This place is kind of quaint chalet. No AC. Shared bathroom with shower. Small room. No safe deposit box. You go up narrow winding stairs. Could be good for young people. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast.

Our experience with the hotel was not so good. We stayed in a room on 1st floor, but during the night, we could hear squeaky floor on top of us which keep waking us up. Every electrical sockets in the room were not working well and shaky, so if you want to charge your phone or camera overnight, you'd better keep checking that it's really charging. We did not realise when we book the room that bathroom facilities had to be shared with other room guests. Hotel.com should have made this clear on the booking page.

Hostel rooms are inexpensive, staff is great
We stayed in the hostel portion of the hotel -- rooms are less expensive and bathrooms are shared. But you still benefit from all the other amenities of the hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, especially Andrea who informed us of activities in the area as well as transportation options.

Auton sai hyvin parkkiin. Aamupala oli Ok. Hostellihuone oli vanha ja tunkkaisen hajuinen. WC käytävällä, mutta huoneessa oli vesipiste. Ympärillä paljon muita majoituksia. Kylällä pari ruokakauppaa. Interlakenissa yksi katu, jolla kalliita kauppoja. Ei muuta nähtävää. Pääsee kuitenkin hyvin majoituspaikalta vuorille.

Chambre simple avec WC et salle de bain communes. Propre. Seul bémol : pas de rideaux occultants ni volets et réverbère dans la rue. Bonne literie. Murs mal insonorisés. Petit déjeuner buffet à l'hotel Alpenblick, avec de bons produits. Parfait pour aller skier ou randonner mais ne pas prévoir rester dans la chambre en journée.

Schrecklich!!
Wir haben viele gute Erfahrungen in Hostels, deshalb haben wir für unseren Wanderurlaub eine Nacht in diesem Hostel gebucht. Für uns ist die Sauberkeit am wichtigsten, dann können wir überall gemütlich schlafen. Leider haben wir in diesem Hostel die schlechteste Erfahrung gemacht. - große Schimmelfläche über der Badewanne - Spinnweben in den Ecken (Zimmer, Flur) - das schlimmste war: KAKERLAKE unter dem Bettkissen!! Schimmel, Spinnweben..ja, es ist ein altes Holzhaus. Dafür hatten wir Verständnis. Aber als wir nach dem Aufwachen eine Kakerlake unter dem Kopfkissen entdeckt haben, waren wir so erschrocken und konnten nicht richtig frühstücken. Wir haben die Situation an die Rezeption weitergegeben...und die Rezeptionistin meinte, wegen der Spinnweben kann man nichts für, weil es ein altes Holzhaus ist.. Wir haben einige Nächte in Holzhaus/Hütten verbracht und bis jetzt nie sowas gesehen..

Nous avons un très bon accueil, le personnel est souriant et sympathique malheureusement nous avons été très déçus de la qualité de la chambre. bien moins spacieuse que sur les photos et très mal isolée ! ce qui fait que le soir nous entendions les personnes au-dessus marcher, et à chaque pas le sol craquait... insupportable, d’autant plus que cela nous a réveillé à 6h du matin, impossible de dormir jusqu’à 8h lorsque les personnes étaient enfin parties! Quant au petit déjeuner, il y avait du choix, mais avec la chaleur (salle non climatisée) le jus d’orange était à température ambiante, le beurre fondu.... et le café était quant à lui presque froid bien dommage car cela aurait pu être une bonne adresse

Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, wir haben ein Doppelzimmer mit Gemeinschaftsbad gebucht & erhielten dann bei der Ankunft ein Doppelzimmer mit eigenem Bad ohne Aufpreis! Wir waren zwar im altem Teil des Gebäudes, Ausstattung alles älter, jedoch sehr gepflegt und mit Charme. Würde ich sofort weiterempfehlen

Sehr gemütlich, bequem und heimelig, fast wie in der ehemals eigenen Ferienwohnung. Sehr feines Frühstück und sehr gutes Essen im Restaurant nebenan. Dusche und WC zum teilen (für 3 Zimmer), wir waren jedoch die einzigen auf dem Stock. Für manche mag es eng sein, für uns war es ausreichend. Einziger Kritikpunkt, das Zimmer war um 15:30 Uhr nicht bezugsbereit. Konnten dafür die Gästekarte gleich nutzen und Interlaken auskundschaften. Alles in allem sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt.
