We just stayed the night driving through - arrived late and left early so didn’t see the town or surrounding areas.

It was an overnight rest stop for us
It is s beautiful town, most people are very nice and there are all the services you require.
The "look-out" was worth seeing, lovely garden and well kept. There was another one with two gazebo type shelters but were very run down. The original high school was freshly painted with well kept grounds. Lots of Art Deco buildings in the town.
