The unit is big and clean with everything we need. The location is perfect as it is on SH1 and only few minutes to the centre. I will definitely back next time if I go to north again

Friendly Valley
Staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. My reservation that I booked through hotels.com was supposed to be a 1 bdrm unit with kitchen but we were put in a studio. The receptionist showed me that we paid for the studio price even though our paperwork described the 1 bdrm. So when they received the money and reservation from hotels.com they booked us in the studio. So there is a miscommunication between the hotel and hotels.com. The room was fine, the beds were uncomfortable only because the mattresses were caved in/not firm in some spots but we had enough pillows to fill in the gorges. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful!

Hi Kerri! Thanks for the review, unfortunately 3rd party booking sites directly book the room types and they are often described wrong. We can't change the room types ourselves after booking so I'm not sure what hotels.com have done there. We've started to look into this so they don't book the wrong room type into our platform again. Very sorry regardless!

Easy access. Decent parking. Convenient. Simple easy check in and check out. Was disappointed that our unit had fleas because otherwise the room was spacious and decent. Lovely little outside area to sit and be social with other guests & Management was understanding when I told them about the issue. It was ok but I’m pretty sure we won’t be returning. 😐 Sorry

Hi, sorry about the long delay in responding. Fleas you say? the room was thoroughly checked when you left but nothing was found. We take these sorts of complaints very seriously as you can imagine. We put a white towel on the floor for half an hour but nothing. Sometimes guests bring unwanted critters with them and then have an issue with the motel, which i can understand. Thank you for your stay anyway.

Clean & comfortable motel. Nothing to get excited about but fine for an overnight stay. The spa bath was lovely, but the shower curtains weren't wide enough & caused the bathroom floor to get completely wet. Hardly any sky tv channels.

I've seen better sofas on the side of the road for free. The carpet looked grubby and stained, I didn't want to take my shoes off. Milk had been decanted into small bottles to save $$ YUK
