The facilities in the unit were all ok. I did find it hard to contact the manager. He lost a customer who wanted to stay but the office was closed and there was no response from the manager. I did appreciate my 4 night stay.

Good location, however stairs to the decking could have been repaired they weren’t so safe and four had no slip resistant like the others bit dangerous. The overall property was good however their service of house keeping was very lacking it looked like nothing cleaned just the beds made and not that well either. Crumbs on the floor not removed our entire stay from day one where friend accidentally spilt in first day of our stay

We stayed for 5 nights with our biys who are 6 and 8. Everything that we needed was there. Our room was serviced every day. There were DVDs that we could use to finish off a busy day. It is so close to town. We highly recommend this place.

Adequate for a short stay in Whanganui
Although the motel is generally looking rather tired, we had everything we needed for our stay. The bed is comfortable, the shower is superb, but the couch is too soft and not good for your posture or comfort. With a little work, both inside and outside this motel could be great

One of the VERY few place we have visited that have really thought about the room and functionality. really nice place to stay, mostly sound proof walls, could barely hear the baby crying next door,comfy bed, more than usual in the way of appliances, heating/cooling and kitchen equipment. plus REAL milk and no little packets of soap/shampoo-seemed eco conscious. :) I would recommend fixed the steps up to the rooms as seems unsafe.

Very basic room. Staff were accomodating with late check in. Big sign out the front saying rooms $105 a night... We were charged $175. Seems we overpaid with our bargain check in?!?

Business Trip that felt like a Holiday
Arrived very early but were helpfully orientated with a map for a great day, and our luggage looked after, as it was after checkout when we spent another full day in Whanganui. Very relaxing stay. Accommodation is quiet and spacious with a kitchenette better than most motels, and the most powerful shower I've ever had. The balcony is a great place to sit and watch the sunset, and the bridge to the centre of town is only a 10 minute walk away. Add 5-10 mins walk for anywhere you would want to visit in the beautiful town centre,

Great location, lovely view, clean and tidy unit. The only down side was the people in the next unit were smokers and the smoke wafted across and we had to close the windows and door to keep the smoke out.

It was our first time staying here. It was very clean,comfortable and warm inside. The shower alone was fantastic. Not to far from town. The only thing I would say is maybe look at redoing the main stairs as they felt a bit unstable underfoot. We look forward to stay here again.

Straightforward well appointed motel near where I needed to be. The people were nice, the rooms were clean and had everything you need the bed was comfortable the shower was good.

Nice hotel for a quick overnight stay
Comfortable motel. The upside was the room was absolutely spotless and the linen smelt so good. The only disappointment was the wifi connection (if there even was one) and the TV didn’t work in cabin 7 ( only had channel 1 but half the screen was fuzzy with no inaudible sound).

We hired the cabin and were surprised how comfortable and tasteful it was. Super clean and everything you need. Borrowed a DVD from reception at no extra charge and tucked in for the night.

I booked a riverview room but there is a road and houses in the way. The shower head water coming out the back of head. Staff cleaned room each day but did not make beds other motels I have stayed in do. However the hotel is clean with modern decor.

Nice Motel close to town. Very clean with cheerful decor and everything you need in the kitchen area. Thought that being close to a busy road would be annoying but had a fantastic sleep on super comfortable beds.

Great Place for a Family Vacation
We stayed for one night with our three teenage boys in a one bedroom cabin. It was well appointed and had plenty of room with a covered outdoor area equip with a BBQ. The only complaint was that the wifi was a bit hit and miss but that just gave us more reason to drag the kids outside for that IRL experience. We would definitely recommend and will be returning for a longer stay soon.
