We had a lovely room overlooking the water. It was right on the road so there was some noise, but we expected that given our choice of room overlooking the water. Staff were very friendly and the pastries and coffee were wonderful. Location was great. We did a lot of walking - thru the town behind the hotel and down across the bridge on the way to the train station. We walked to the hotel from the train station. It was a perfect stay.

Beautiful room 2nd time around.
We booked through the Hotels.com app and were given the smallest room in the furthest corner of the hotel overlooked by an air conditioning unit. I spoke to reception and we were able to upgrade to a Seaview room for an additional cost. The upgraded room was really nice but I hope they don't just allocate the worst rooms to customers who book on booking sites. I'd definitely stay here again but would be sure to request a seaview room. The facilities were good nice bar area and lounge / reception. I felt the breakfast was expensive for what it was as a self service buffet breakfast which didn't have alot of choice as the self service area hadn't been refilled. Wexford town is lovely, lots of bars cafes and resturants and lovely pedestrianised streets as well as nice walks along the quays.

Nice comfortable hotel, great food
Nice comfortable hotel in Wexford Town. The staff were very accommodating to facilitate an 0430 departure for myself and 2 colleagues, and very kindly organised a packed lunch to take away in place of breakfast. Dinner in Oysterlane Restaurant was excellent. Parking on site is a little chaotic but otherwise I'd highly recommend the Talbot Wexford and would stay there again.

We'd a lovely stay again at the talbot Hotel wexford its our 3rd time staying there all the staff are warm and welcoming food is delicious with plenty of choice its so central to everything well worth visit if your planning on staying in wexford 😊

Talbot Wexford disappointing
Room was very dated, hair in the bath, not cleaned 🙈 properly, waited 3/4 of an hour for teabags to be sent up to the room. Hotel itself was nice and central to shops and restaurants.

Very easy to find with plenty of free parking - just ask for a ticket at reception. The bar/restaurant was full - but that was our fault for not booking when we were offered the chance. We had food from the lobby cafe which was very good value and plenty big enough. Breakfast was also good. Rooms were maybe a bit tired but overall an excellent stay, especially considering the price.

Almost great.
Good location on the edge of town. A popular hotel with coach tours. Public areas look great but little things like a rusty shower rail and chipped bath in our room let it down.

I stayed here with my daughter for one night for a bit of shopping. We got in to the hotel early but we were able to check in and leave our bags there. Staff were excellent very polite. We went to the bar and the barstaff were friendly. There was a man going around called Gordon he looked like a manager and couldnt be more helpful. He spoke to everyone we even had a laugh with him. The bedrooms were spotless and the beds were very comfy. Swimming pool was great and the jacuzzi. I have to say everything was brilliant. Would highly recommend it and definitely be back
