Wet’n’Wild Water Park on the Pacific Highway has been one of the Gold Coast’s favourite attractions since 1984, when Australian families first started flocking to this purpose-built theme park. Taller children and adults can enjoy an action-packed day of rides and activities while the smaller members of the family splash around safely in the children’s pool or let off steam in the pirate-themed playground. The popularity of the water park means it can get very crowded, particularly in the school holidays and at peak times, so early birds will definitely be rewarded with shorter queues and shorter tempers! Also avoid disappointment (and tears!) by checking out the height requirements for the rides in advance most of them have a minimum height restriction of 1.2 metres, although some will allow shorter children to take chaperoned rides.Once you’re safely in and settled, it’s time to head off to explore the rides. Adrenalin junkies will get plenty of kicks from the high-speed high jinks of the Extreme H2O zone. Dare to take on the near-vertical Kamikaze drop or the twisting Tornado, plummet through the scary tunnels of the Black Hole or plunge down the Mach 5. Those with weaker stomachs will find thrills aplenty among the other less extreme but equally exciting rides such as the freefall AquaLoop or the 360-degree coiling Constrictor, before turning with relief to the soothing waters of Calypso Beach or going with the flow in the Giant Wave Pool.Complete your day with a family meal to replenish all that expended energy! There are plenty of food outlets within the park, but you’re welcome to bring your own picnic as long as you remember not to include any glassware. You can rent a cabana to store your stuff while you swim. The water park is open every day except Christmas Day and ANZAC Day (25 April). Buying a VIP Pass will give you access to the three major parks: Movie World, Sea World and Wet’n’Wild.

Reviews of Wet'n'Wild Gold Coast
4/5 - Good
Get there early. It was a super hot day, and the rides were about 50 minutes wait which didn't seem worth the hot and bother....overall enjoyable wave pool.
4/5 - Good
Get there early - queing can ruin the rides pretty quick...
3/5 - Okay
You might want to call through and ask if they have finished the upgrades to two major rides. Considering how much the entry fees are, it would of been nice to know that there are closed access to some rides. Also I feel the toilets and amenities block need a better scrub and bleaching. We were there first thing during opening hours before the rush and it smelled like urine. The food prices where ridiculous. For a family of five burgers, hot dogs and small drinks it cost over $100. Otherwise the cabana area was great. With music on quite relaxing. Hot tip- make sure you pack snacks and drinks and bring your thongs to walk around from ride to ride. Dang!! that concrete ground can get mighty hot!! Swimming areas were clean and refreshing. Good vibe and atmosphere.
4/5 - Good
Best day out for us
4/5 - Good
Food was very expensive and poor quality
4/5 - Good
It closed at 3.30pm which we werent aware of and half of the rides were closed. Maybe this is because of the time of year.
