Short stopover before heading to Auckland. Hotel was very nice, clean eith great staff. Did not get to check out the hot tub, but did get into town for supper. Good overall experience.

It is an older property which they are currently up grading. we had the king room. Kitchen area was dated but very clean had everything you need to cook meals. Bathroom area was dated as well but still very clean and tidy. Lounge area was big huge sofa very comfortable. Bedroom had double glazed windows, blackout curtains, very comfortable bed, lovely linen. Very relaxing, peaceful feel to the property. Still very close to shop, restaurants, bars

Driving in slow traffic, arrived at camp ground, booked on line!! TO be told that you can't book in till Sunday due to number of people, OVER fill, finally found castle motal, as soon as we arrived 5 star service my family had a fun time good sleep thank you so much Regards Yvonne

Handy place to stay in Welsford
We stayed here for a night because we had a wedding to attend nearby. We found it well-priced, comfortable and clean. The rooms were much lighter than the other motel up the road!! Very easy check-in. Could park right outside the until. Perfect for our needs!! The friendly duck was an added bonus.
