Great hotel. Very spacious beautiful open planned kitchen dining and lounge room and plenty space and storage for 3 bedrooms. Easy contactless check in/out. Quiet, clean, big windows and warm. Two carparks are there but also a public carpark option is cross the road with early bird discount for $13.50 full day parking 6am-7pm. Easy walking distance to anywhere in city. Bring washing powder to use washing machine. Highly recommend.

We booked the family room as we were travelling with our teenage son and wanted to give him some privacy, but we had to go through his room to get to the bathroom which was very unpleasant during the night. Also the rooms are stuffy, small and very packed. No staff onsite and just a lockbox to get in, breakfast in the fridge … all very average. Feels more like a backpackers than a hotel. Would not go there again.

Clean, comfortable, lots of space and right in the downtown area. Lots of restaurants near by. Really appreciated the breakfast foods in the room as we had an early morning start.

Wonderful experience with U Boutique in Wellington
We were on a one-night stay in Wellington and picked the U Boutique for its convenience and price for our group of 5 adults. We were able to store our bags before check-in so we could explore the city luggage free. We arrived back at the hotel later than expected and found that the staff had already moved our bags to the room for us! We did have an issue with the key to the door but they had a backup key available immediately and stopped by within minutes to give us a replacement key. The room was clean and comfortable with plenty of room for 5 adults with a private bath. They had some light refreshments in the room which was really nice with our busy schedule of sightseeing Wellington in just one day. We checked out on time and was also able to store our bags for bags for the remainder of the morning while we had brunch with relatives. With my travels all over the world, this was the most accommodating hotel I have ever stayed in. When I return to Wellington, I will surely make U Boutique my first choice.

Quirky hotel, great location. Was a little noisy at times but very central location. Great for older family as separate room for kids but stairs are steep to our room, no air conditioning and unable to open windows.

Whilst the location is great, the property was not secure, the main door could not lock and was open all night, the room was tiny, and the residents above us made noise all night meaning it was impossible to sleep. The TV was not working, and given the bathroom was shared, the price for what we paid was not in alignment with the facilaties.

Great spa pool and privacy. No air con made it hard to sleep and lack of cuttlery made it hard to eat as no plates or knives or forks. Easy check in and check out but must be semi tech savy. Check what is included in the breakfast.

Cute little Boutique.
Nice little Boutique. We got the King room with Spa pool.With it being the top floor there was no elevator, The room was comfy but had no air conditioning, lucky it had large French doors leading out to the big private balcony. Other than the elevator it was lovely.

A funky little property in a great location. The balcony room was excellent and having our own spa was amazing but there were a few little things that could do with a refresh - eg replacing fraying carpet, cleaning the spa cover, and making sure all the outdoor lights work.

Honestly this place was so perfect for us. Both the location and the vibe were so onn! Unfortunately the only let down was that it was a wee bit dirty. The blind next to the bed was like thickk with dust and the spa pool was smelly/slimy and the water was cloudy. Other than that it was like a tiny bit run down but that all could be excused as part of the vibe if only it was that little bit cleaner... in saying that the service was excellent and I almost didn't want to give such honest feedback because they were so nice. To be fair we were here for the location not the spa anyway but it would've been nice if we could've used it without worrying that we might pick up something weird. Also tv did not have a chrome cast so we were stuck watching free tv the whole time which is a small thing but that could be easily remedied

Was a great stay other than I opted for an upgrade from a shared bathroom to a private bathroom only to have a bathroom that was across the hallway from my room. I think the term Private should not be used and future guests should be aware of the situation. If I had known I would have just gone with the shared option because ultimately it didn't feel that private.

Very noisy from the people upstairs, they were clumping around and every noise was heard in our room downstairs. Noise went on until around 2 to 3 am. Good from then on. Thanks for the ear plugs
