Wonderful peaceful getaway
The listing does not do this place justice! It is spacious and exceptionally peaceful. Our family gathering was perfect due in large part to this rental. We had more than enough space to gather together and enough space for everyone to spread out and relax. The facility is exceptionally well supplied. And the view!!! Thank you for providing a place for us to make great memories!

Family Spring Break - Perfect
Our family had a blast! Plenty of space with activities and games around the house. My tween didn't even spend time on her cell phone. The host was very accommodating, letting us stay longer on Easter Sunday! Can't wait to come back when the river is up.

Family getaway
This is our 3rd time coming and every time is amazing. Our family loves the location because you have so much to do. We went swimming every day, fished, and just relaxed on the deck watching the sunrise. The host is wonderful and we will be looking forward to our next visit.

Best vacation ever
We took a trip with our small group and families! There’s were 8 kids, 2 teens and 8 adults. This house housed all of us easily and we never felt crammed. The main level was open floor concept so we were all together even when we weren’t in the same room and the deck was our favorite place to eat lunch and dinner! There is ample room when we needed to “escape” the kids for a little bit, we also could easily banish them to the coolest basement ever with all the fun toys you can imagine. It’s a hill to get down to the lake but I was thankful to work off all the extra calories from junk! The homeowners have made some pretty amazing updates throughout the house and EVERY adult raved about the beds (which is always hit/miss with rentals). There are tons of extra linens, pillows and bedding it made life so easy! I wish I could rate this rental with 100 stars. We made some core memories. I can’t say enough about how thoughtful this rental is, from extra beach towels to a plethora of kitchen utensils. These owner have truly have put a lot of thought and love into this! We were so thankful to stay in such a beautiful place!

Lake Wedowee Jewel
This house on Lake Wedowee is fantastic! It's large enough for everyone to spread out and enjoy. The hot tub was a big hit with the kids and adults alike and so was the pool table. Paddleboards and a little paddle boat are at the dock for even more fun out on the water! Brittney is an A+ host and we will definitely be returning!

Ben's View Lakehouse
This listing was just as advertised. The house is huge and the amenities were outstanding. it has everything you need for a big family get together. We played pool, ping pong, corn hole, space evaders, basketball, and air hockey. The dock has two paddleboards,(careful that the Obama's aren't around), a paddleboat, and life vests. The kids used the hot tub two nights and we used the fire pit to make s'mores. All in all a good week and Brittney, the host, responded back with each message i sent. She wants to make sure you have a good time and is really helpful. We enjoyed the lake as we had a boat and a tube for the kids. The lake was actually very quite. It was hot each day and i guess that might have kept the boaters off the water....great for us. Thanks Brittney!

Family get away
Home was clean and ready for our arrival. The leather couch in living room is comfortable, beds are also comfortable. Kitchen chairs aren’t comfortable and outdoor chairs don’t have cushions. If traveling with older adults, know it’s a steep climb to go up and down to lake. The deck and pier are lovely. Our family and both labradors had a great time swimming in the lake. I recommend also bringing your boat or renting. The lake is big!

Great Lake Vacation
This house has everything! There are so many games and activities for all age groups to enjoy. The deck seating provides a beautiful view of Lake Wedowee. The kitchen is exceptionally well stocked. The linen closets are well organized for easy access to extra blankets and pillows. The beds are comfortable with fresh smelling linens. We will definitely return to this house.

Perfect lakehouse for family gathering
This was the perfect lake house getaway! This host thought of absolutely everything. We were able to gather four generations of family together. The kids loved the air hockey, trampoline, ping pong and basketball, while the adults played pool and relaxed in the hot tub. With two kitchens and a grill outside meals were easy to prepare and many smores were made at the fire pits. Sunrises over the decks and watching deer through the kitchen window over a cup of coffee were another favorite. I was also impressed with the wifi service for being such a remote location. I was able to get work done remotely while the kids enjoyed their spring break. We will definitely be back when the weather is warmer to enjoy the lake, but didn't even miss getting in on this trip since there was so much to do.

Amazing, great home and Host!
We do a family spring break every year. We chose Ben’s View Lake House in Wedowee Alabama. Coming from Florida I had no idea where Wedowee was, and I live in Montgomery AL for 10 years prior to moving to Florida. What a fantastic little town. The winery in town was stellar! We spent an afternoon there talking with the gals behind the bar and the owner. Amazing wine and craft beer…. A must attend! The girls took off for a visit to Desoto Caverns and really enjoyed it…. Now to the house, it is fantastic. We were there in very early cool spring and were able to view the lake through the leafless trees on a very spacious deck, it was breathtaking. We built a fire every night inside upstairs and down, as well as both fire pits outside burning each evening. The kids enjoyed the basketball, pool table, trampoline, air hockey, and the space invaders game. The adults loved the cornhole, fire pits, and having two complete kitchens to cook for everyone. The hot tub was a nice add as well. You won’t regret this gem of a find. There was a lot of construction going on outside with the wood being replaced and this house come the summer will be the place they be if you’re a water person. Brittany was very responsive and she was easy to work with. I would surely recommend this home to and large family get together. I’m sure we’ll be back one summer!

Relaxation at its finest!
My husband and I spent Valentine’s week at the cabin. The home is simply perfect! We enjoyed the numerous activities the home has to offer, from playing pool, to snuggling up by the fire overlooking the water, to the pristine hot tub. It was a great getaway for just the two of us but I can see how a large group would also enjoy everything this home has to offer. The owner was very accommodating and communicated well. The home was fully appointed with everything we needed for our stay. Thanks again for letting us visit your beautiful home.

Motorcycle trip to AL from FL
We had a group of 4 couples to go ride the N. GA mountains and then end up in Wedowee to go to the bike museum in Birmingham. We had the best fun. This is the BIGGEST house I have ever seen much less stayed in. We absolutely loved it and will be returning maybe in the summer with our families for fun in lake! Brittany is awesome and there is nothing that you could want or need that was not at that house. Pretty much had a full house downstairs and one upstairs. We had a great time and will be back. Our stay there was too short so we have to come back. Great hot tub there.

Trip was for a family getaway and it was everything you could ask for and more.
Great location, very peaceful at night. Lake was so much fun for everyone, you could fish, swim, or just relax on the dock. We loved just sitting down at the water watching the ducks. At night you can relax in the hot tub. Great place to stay and the host was so helpful. I highly recommend this lake house and will return again.

Perfect Family Spot
We had a family trip planned for my boyfriends birthday, which included a total of 5 sets of couples with kids. The house was massive and easily accommodated everyone and we weren’t tripping over each other. In fact, we often lost each other. The lake is beautiful and we brought our boat for extra shenanigans. The property manager was easy to communicate with and speedy with responses. We look forward to meeting up here again!

Get to travel home once a year as I work overseas and this place did not disappoint. Family ranging from grandparents to teenage nephews and all in between had plenty of room and things to do. The check in process was easy and Brittney was fast to respond and great to work with. The house is large with plenty of room for everyone. We loved their dock which has steps into the water for easy access getting in and out of the water. My boys loved the pool table and hot tub too. We would definitely stay here again.

Very spacious home with easy access to the lake and fun rainy time entertainment.
We really enjoyed this property as a place for our family to get together to celebrate a birthday for our older parents. The property was very spacious and all the rooms were perfect for our family. We loved the hot tub and use of the dock and stand up paddle boards. We also enjoyed the spacious decks, grill, and pool table. Everyone enjoyed our trip and we are looking forward to returning again next year.

Wonderful family vacation
The property was absolutely beautiful. We sat on the deck every morning drinking coffee and taking in the view. The house was wonderful. Lots of comfortable beds and plenty of room! We spent most of our time down at the dock. Which was fantastic! Loved the floating dock! We will definitely stay here again!

My family and I had a great trip!! This house is beautiful and the property is even better. Loved having morning cofee on one of the 2 wrap around porches. The home is pet friendly and we were able to bring our English bulldog along as well! Had fun playing on the pool table with the kids and were able to relax in the jacuzzi. Highly recommend this remote get away!! Convenient 6 minute drive from grocery store, fast food, and liqour store while feeling like you are remote and disconnected!

Everything was great, from meeting the owner to the coffee supply in the house, and the hot tub and pool table and games. Plenty of cooking utensils and other supplies. This was our 3rd time to stay at this property. We were amazed at how many renovations had been made since our last stay. I highly recommend this property.

We had an amazing time at this beautiful place. The views of the lake and the forest were simply stunning. We spent 6 days here and we don’t want to leave! Everything you need is provided. Wonderful hot tub, great fire pit, outdoor grill, etc. We can’t wait to return!

This is an amazing place to stay. The views are beautiful, the decks, docks, games, hot tub and trampoline kept us all entertained. The house was beautiful and well stocked. Great vacation rental
Wonderful place to stay. We had extended family and the house had plenty of space for everyone even air mattresses available The portable play pen and high chair was an added plus for out 10 month old. Enjoyed making memories with the family.

Perfect remote location that also made possible a day trip to Atlanta. All amenities provided - Washer/Dryer, 2 Kitchens, Linen, Sheets, Utensils and plenty of games for all. Plus the AquaCycle provided was great for a safe pedal around the lake!
