The store keepers next-door were so friendly and helpful, as was Shelly the manager. The house is elegantly simple without too much clutter, all the necessary amenities, and great local details, such as locally-made wool blankets and bathroom products. "We had a great time here, lots of open space for the 4 kids ages 8-14 to play, make friends. Great horse riding instructors, very patient and careful. We stayed in the 3 bedroom cottage, it was everything and MORE than what we expected. Fully equipped is an understatement, you could cook, bake, grill outdoors if you wanted to (we did no cooking). We even had an outdoor picnic table and wine glasses."

Guter Ort um auch ein bisschen länger (~ 1 Woche) zu verweilen. Durch Insellage aber relativ weite Wege z.B. nach Kilkenny o.ä. ACHTUNG: Buchung über Travelnest (TN): hier habe ich schlechte Erfahrung gemacht, da TN zunächst eine Probebuchung auf die Kreditkarte macht und zwar in brit. "We stayed at this lovely little home for 4 nights. It was a bit farther out then I realized but after getting over the shock of the tiny roads it was a beautiful drive. The home does not have any extra comfort items such as shampoo, conditioner, soap, salt, pepper, coffee (but has a nespresso machine), laundry soap, extra toilet paper or paper towels, etc. to be fair these items were not in the listing either so it is listed 100% accurate. Also, the trash has to be sorted and taken to the local...

"We chose this house so we could visit Skellig Island. Sadly, the trip was cancelled due to stormy weather but we didn't mind too much as the house was such a pleasure to hunker down in! We used our downtime to catch up on showers, laundry, rest, and relaxation before resuming our tour around Ireland. It was a lovely house with plenty of room to spread out, watch Banshees of Inisherin, and eat take away from Dooley's in our PJs.
