The hotel is close to the 16th street mall (a pedestrian mall). There are buses running all the time that are free on that street. The buses can take you to the capitol or the other end to Union Station (close to Larimer Square). We walked three blocks to the Colorado Symphony on Saturday night and then took the buses to the train to see the Denver Broncos play. The food at the hotel and across the street was very good. There was a local wine store one block from the hotel for local labels and it was very good as well. When we went to the football game, the hotel kept our luggage and then got us a taxi to the airport after the game.

This was the perfect spot for an overnight stay in Denver, right in the heart of the action with lovely staff that hit all the right notes. From the warm cookie upon check-in to quickly mailing a lost item, The Curtis was an excellent choice and I would absolutely stay there again.
