Good points and poor points of note:
Poor - no sky tv signal. Contacted reception, asked if we had a sky remote - we did not. He gave us a sky remote, said any other issues to contact again. Sky remote did not enable sky tv signal. Too late to get back to reception. Bulb in floor lamp did not work (checked myself with another bulb from desk lamp). Took bulb to reception who said maintenance would sort it. It was replaced later but floor switch did not work, could only be turned on/off by low down socket switch. Informed reception sky tv still did not work - maintenance will sort it out. Luckily we were in when maintenance arrived to look at tv. Sky box not plugged in at back of tv and sky box needed to be rebooted, then operational. While he was there I said the lamp floor switch did not work.
One of the 4 spotlights in bathroom did not work, we did not report this as light was not too bad, the other issues were more important.
Good - maintenance man excellent, sorted tv and replaced floor lamp.
All the staff were polite, friendly and helpful.
I do not understand how no-one knew the tv was not operational and had no remote, how no-one knew the floor light did not work and how no-one noticed 25% of the bathroom lighting was not working.
