A perfect old-school bach
We loved staying at Tree Cottage. It's a charming 'old-school' bach, just perfect for a cosy weekend away. Lindsey was a great host, with really good communication before and during our stay.

Quite retreat
Great wee holiday home, great cooking facilities, great library, love the pot belly stove. Just a nice break to relax and let the world drift by.

Lindsey’s description I received upon booking was accurate. Lovely bach/crib. Worth noting for families there is no oven, but a camping hot plate with two elements and a mini grill type bench top oven. Handy to have the washing machine. Listen to Lindsey’s advice about the hot water, we did run out twice (two adults one child despite using it modestly). Lovely stay for a weekend within easy walking distance of nice swimming beach.

What a fantastic, peaceful and charming wee cottage!! The perfect spot to get away fro. The hustle of the city and spend some quality family time. The host was also fantastic! Great communication and she thought of everything.

Relaxing stay
We stayed 6 days as we visited family and toured the area. Lindsey’s place was a wonder base, relaxing and beautiful; gardens and quiet home. Simple but all that was needed for a quiet and relaxing visit. Host was wonderful, very communicative and responsive. Morning coffee and evening wine on the porch with flowers, bees and nice view of the hillside. A very relaxing and refreshing venue!

Tree Cottage
Beautiful, quiet location. Literally a few minutes' walk to a stunning beach. The owner was very communicative and helpful. The cottage was well equipped and the kitchen had everything I needed. I would certainly go back there!

Tree Cottage "Tranquility in a Bottle"
This is a great place to stay if you want a quiet, tranquil, relaxing holiday away from it all. The property is very clean and the check in process was easy. The cottage is just as it is described online. It is an old style kiwi bach with lots of charm and a lovely homely feel to it. The host communicated very well with us and replied to any questions promptly. He provided good clear directions on how to find the property. The cottage is less than 10 minutes walk from the beach and has a beautiful view inland from the front entrance. There are lots of things to do and places to explore within 30 minutes of the location. Tree Cottage is a great place to stay for either couples or a small group. I would definitely stay here again in the future. Sheila

Enjoyed our stay but a few suggestions
A bottle of milk would have been helpful or at least let people know they need some when they arrive. The shower was not the best and a bit dangerous getting in and out . Toaster burnt one side and vacuum cleaner didn’t suck very well.

Loved the quiet location and facilities. Very comfortable beds and settee. Nice big dining table and chairs although there was only the 2 of us. Convenient parking right by the front door. Key easy to find in the key safe. Would thoroughly recommend.

Quiet 2 night stay
This was a cozy place to stay. About 20 minutes outside Dunedin in a quiet neighborhood. We had access to a wonderful beach and within easy driving distance to several places along the coast to view sea lions, albatross, and an ecosystem reserve. We stayed in late Feb - this might be a much busier place in high summer due to easy beach access.

Lovely cosy cottage with a great woodburner. The owner was very friendly and good with communication. Great area with a lovely beach nearby. The owner kindly said we could use the 2 kayaks but unfortunately we didnt get time to use them.

My sister and my 2 nieces had a lovely stay. Everything they needed was provided and the gardens (especially the tree swing) were a hit! Lindsey was excellent to communicate with! The location was perfect, being a short walk to the beach, and lovely and quiet. Thanks Lindsey for everything!

Old well used beds
Very cute and beautiful, clean cottage and gardens but beds are bouncy old and impossible to sleep on. All the furniture is well used and needs replacing. The heatpump batteries were flat and we didnt find the dinner set to the next day in the bottom of a bookshelf. Luckily there were plenty of breadboards to eat off till then.

Nice little cottage
As advertised this is a nice little cottage, It has all the basics to enjoy your stay, nothing fancy, very simple and basic, but enough to cover the basic needs. My children loved the top bed, there are plenty of games , books and movies! Location is fantastic! A beautiful beach nearby. Warm and cosy, the temperature dropped during our stay so we used the hot pot.

Peace and quiet stay
We had a great week’s holiday in this lovely cottage. SO quiet - just bird song, the occasional clippity clop of horses’ hooves nearby and the rare train going through Warrington. Very private location. Just a 20-minute walk to a beautiful beach. Well-equipped accommodation and very homely feeling. Highly recommended.

Lovely place to stay
We had two adults a 10 year old and a 3 year old staying for two nights. The house had great atmosphere. My son loved the bunk, my daughter was jealous of it! They were also excited about the swing, the "secret" path in the garden and the nice big bath. The shower's great too! It's a quick walk down to the beach (nice coffee in the kiosk,) and not too far into the city centre. We'll have to come again just for the great book selection. Thank you.

A Beautiful Bach with lots of charm
Your place is very comfortable and welcoming. Our boys loved the bunk loft bed. We really enjoyed the garden with the fabulous birds and swingin it. It is a very good location, being only 20mins from Dunedin with beautiful surrounding beaches.

Our stay at Tree Cottage, Warrington.
Very nice property. A reasonably good size crib (cottage). Clean. Well provided with all one needs. Very good compact kitchen. Well stocked with books. Verandah over the sheltered (sun) deck which we used often. Property surrounded by tall hedges which gives good privacy. Nice to see and hear bellbirds at the property.Just a short distance from Warrington surf beach. Not far from Orokanui Eco Sanctuary which is a must visit site. Not far from Blueskin Plant Nurseries Cafe. Good coffee, snacks and meals.
