"The bar and restaurant area was so busy, it took an age to get served. In the end I didn’t eat there because the wait was over an hour. Staff struggling to cope."

"Reception was professional, friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a premium room which was large and included a sofa and chairs. We were on the 4th floor with a good view of the Waterfront and the Hill Dickinson stadium. The bed was comfortable and we slept well with the black out curtains and no external noise. We didn't eat in the restaurant but service in the bar was great. The reception and bar staff were friendly, and helpful. I will stay again next time I visit Liverpool."

"Stayed here for one night, all the staff were very friendly and we were always welcomed with a hello and a smile. The gent behind the bar was also very friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was the awful drain smell in the bathroom, was so bad it almost made me vomit during the night."
