I couldn't work out how to phone from one room to another which was a little frustrating at the time. I resorted to communicating via mobile phone. The rooms were clean and comfortable and quiet. Our bathroom was enormous. The general decor and setting was very pleasant. I love the older buildings. The staff were pleasant and helpful. I didn't have breakfast there but other family members did and said it was very good. We only spent one night there but I would be happy to return. The car park had plenty of parking spaces.
The hotel was actually a beautiful cottage in a quiet little town. Our room was quaint and very comfortable with a lot of charm and beautiful decor. It was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. The pub was an authentic pub and the local customers were very friendly. We had a wonderful experience and the location was perfect for going to Stonehenge and over to Salisbury to the cathedral and shopping is close by. Food at the pub was also a treat. The English breakfast was amazing and the portions were more than we could finish. We definitely recommend staying here and we plan on coming back ourselves!
Good position near retail park, and major supermarket.
The breakfast was superb, second to none.
The Thai curry from room service was bland, and nothing resembling red Thai curry which is strange as the same meal on the menu at the Aberdeen Hilton Treetops is perfect.
The evening meal in the restaurant was okay, but nothing special and the steak was stringy and good to take back for a dog.
The staff were very helpful if a little slow.
On the whole, the hotel was well positioned with a comfy feel and we would recommend it and would return again, with the right deal.
I stayed three nights and loved it! The tap dripped in my bathroom, I nearly fell down a step due to poor lighting and yet... Biscuits and hot chocolate in the room, a good wine choice and excellent food - the lamb tagine with couscous was delightful. I stayed alone yet had some lively conversations with locals, guests and staff.

We loved this hotel. We booked an executive room and had a very relaxing stay after a break shopping in London. The pool and surrounding areas were very nice and the room service was absolutely delicious. It was our anniversary whilst we stayed and the hotel very kindly left a card and fruit plate in our room. Would definitely recommend!
