Lovely and peaceful little retreat, love Hosts
2 night here was lovely - caught some fish and Green lip mussels for dinner. Did some nice riding and played some Golf at the Nopara course (9kms away) The bungalow has lots of character and all you need for a multi night stay East to stay here 3-4 nights

Very peaceful relaxing location. Lots to see unfortuneately our stay was cut short. But Wendy very kindly refunded us part of the stay we missed. Very much apprciated. Thanks for being awesome hosts.

Incredible Location
We had a wonderful time at Wendy’s place! The drive over was a bit curly at times, but the scenery can’t be beat and the cute little cabin home was just what we were after. Would definitely stay again.

Charming wee cabin with all modern amenities
I cycled there from Torea Saddie on the Queen Charlotte Track & it was so worth the effort. I loved the old style rural Marlborough Sounds cottage feel to the property.

A lovely getaway
Wendy greeted us upon arrival and showed us to the cabin. She gave us the run down of what to know and we then saw her intermittently throughout our stay - she was a lovely host. The cabin was all that we needed for 4 nights and we will be recommending the cabin to others ((:

Lovely little spot at Waitaria Bay - a very cosy cottage and very comfy bed. Very clean and nicely decorated. Well equipped with kitchen amenities to cook for yourself. Nice walk behind the property to Bobs Knob.

Beautiful, quiet spot
The accommodation had everything we needed and was a lovely quiet spot. Wendy and Graeme were great hosts and we would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone wanting some peace and quiet in a beautiful setting.

Charming & relaxing...
Comfortable little cabin with some very individual touches... loved the 're-purposed' basin!.. nestled in the bush with rustic paths and a glimpse of the water... the separate bathroom and compost toilets add to the 'away from it all' vibe... kayaking and swimming right there in such a beautiful place was very restoring... and if you want to get some exercise there's a stunning climb up to Bob's Knob just behind the cabin... all-in-all a great place to 'recharge the batteries'...

If you’re looking for tranquility, the great outdoors, thoughtful hosts stay here
Wendy and Graeme are lovely hosts. The cabin is cosy, well provisioned kitchen. Good bathroom. Outside loo is clean. Bush and sunshine. Birds, views, Kenepuru Sound Kai moana at low tide. Drive or ride to Punga Cove for pizza if you need. Lots of rides, walks. Perfect

Private sanctuary
Wendy and Graham were fabulous hosts. Accommodation is private and surrounded in bush although you still get a glimpse of the ocean. Amenities were excellent. Perfect spot for a relaxed cosy bach getaway.

It is compact and relatively private. Probably more of a warm weather unit as the toilet and bathroom/shower are separate from the main room. Although we enjoyed our stay, I think it would be beneficial to others to have more descriptive photos so that people are prepared. We enjoyed our stay
