Perfect ladies retreat
What a beautiful wee place. So clean, tidy, beautifully decorated. Was perfect for a ladies weekend away. So close to beach and amenities. Would love to stay again sometime.

Lovely newly renovated home
The location of this property was great with a short walk to the beach, surf club and across the road from a cafe. Kids loved the big back yard and treehouse. House was clean and tidy. We were given a bottle of wine on arrival and a late check out of 11am. We would recommend this place to friends and family.

Waihi Beach is stunning! Classic case of one of NZ's best kept secrets. The Waihi Bach is the perfect accomplice to the relaxing Kiwi Summer by the beach. The house is well appointed with everything you need to sustain your getaway from the hustle of life.

Great Bach
We enjoyed our time at One Fyfe Beach Bach. It has everything you need, is in a great location and it was awesome to be able to take our dogs and know they were safe in the fully fenced section. It was also a nice touch to be offered a bottle of wine for our stay. Great communication with the host and clear instructions.

We had a nice stay a little disappointed that the oven didn't work and there was dirty oven tray inside it. Also the lawns were so long the outdoor area looked so scruffy. We were told we could take a bottle of wine of our choice from the fridge but it was half empty so we didn't bother. Probably wouldn't stay there again

Hi Cherie, I know you were cross when I wasn't able to refund any of the rental cost when some of your group didn't end up coming at the last minute. As I explained when you rent the whole property the cost is to rent the total space, it isn't like an airline ticket where I can sell the unused beds to other guests so the cost is the same if there are 2 people or 4 people. Your check in email finishes by saying "and remember I am here to assist you during your stay. Don't leave it until the end of your holiday to let me know" It really is such a shame you didn't do this as all of these small niggles could so easily and quickly have been solved if only I knew. For example, there is a cellar of wine in the shed which I could have directed you too, the oven has worked fine for the next guests and so it may have just needed the clock setting after a power cut which is the work of moments and our lawnmowing services lives just around the corner and could have come to do an extra cut. Indeed you didn't reply to my additional message checking in on your stay. Becki

Family stay with young children for wedding
Thank you for accommodating our stay in Waihi! The property was clean and well equipped. Communication was excellent and Becki is very friendly and provides lots of detail about the home and things to do. Great for young children as property is fully fenced. Also a great selection of childrens books. Kitchen very tidy and easy to find things, lovely shelving for glasses. Thank you for the bottle of wine, was a lovely touch! Morning walk to get coffee just metres down the road where you can buy yummy slices too. Thanks again :)

A great modern Bach for a lovely family holiday!
We had a lovely stay in Waihi for a week. Communication with the owner was great, & the Bach was really nice. It’s well thought out with everything you need for a week’s stay & lovely comfy beds. With 2 young children it was awesome that the garden was fully fenced, & our 3 years old loved the tree house - it was so much bigger than we expected. An easy 5 mins walk to the beach & a playground, & a cafe just a few metres away.

Great little property located close to the surf club end of Waihi Beach. Becki has done a great job of provisioning this place with all the mod cons. We appreciated the unlimited broadband and the backyard is an impressive size. Might be worth noting that there isn’t really any onsite parking but you can park your car on the wide berm. Wonderful Bach so close to the beach
Everything was clean and as listed. Comfy beds and a great garden and treehouse. Our dog enjoyed being able to roam without fear of escaping. Very short walk to goo coffee and a short walk to the beach. Really outstanding trip.

A beautiful bach with something added luxuries to please all guests, big and small!
We had a lovely week at One Fyfe and great communication from our host. The bach was perfect for our two small families (including fur baby). We all loved the beautifully decorated interior and found everything we needed. We all loved the little added luxuries - lovely shower, wine glasses, kitchenware, dishwasher, and a few other lovely surprises too. The kids aged 8-11 loved the tree house and this kept them entertained for hours on end. We also enjoyed the outdoor dining table with lovely comfortable chairs...perfect for an afternoon drink in the sunshine. We highly recommend One Fyfe as a place to stay at Waihi Beach - great bach, host and location. We'll definitely be back.

Fantastic stay

I arrived to find the place clean and tidy. Safe for a night by myself before family joined me. The full kitchen meant I could make some great meals for us to enjoy. We were also there during a very cold week at the start of July so the heaters, fire and electric blankets were great and quickly heated up the house.

Great place for a weekend at north end of Waihi Beach
Very well appointed and furnished little house. Has the essentials - good shower, comfortable beds - and we had six adults on our latest stay - plenty of room. Good kitchen and lounge area. Wifi was not super fast but we had a number of devices connected and it was all good. Quiet - could hear the breakers at night. Return renters, and we will return again.

Really enjoyed our experience! The only let-downs (very minor) were that one of the dishwashers was full on arrival, there was laundry drying in the hallway, and when we attempted to text the property manager to locate the rubbish bag assigned we had no response. As I said, VERY minor details. Otherwise we absolutely loved the property and would happily rent again!

An absolute gem!
What a delightful bach this is!! Beautifully set up, all modern conveniences, well catered for and with lovely decor, while still having the relaxed vibe of a holiday home. Our boys loved the two storey tree house, and the beach is a short easy walk away, plus there is a good cafe just a stone’s throw from the gate. The fully fenced big section allowed us to relax when the kids and baby were cruising around outside and in the treehouse. The weather didn’t come to the party but there were plenty of good books and puzzles / games for baby, kids and adults during the indoor stints. And with good bedding, electric blankets, heaters, underfloor heating in the bathroom and a fire place, the place was cosy when the weather wasn’t. We will definitely be looking to stay here again on our next trip to Waihi!

Great Waihi Beach Bach
3 night stay in May at this funky little bach. Handy for the beach( a short drive to the village) and about 10 minutes from Waihi. The Bach was clean and well equipped with all you need for a short or even a longer stay and had been done up really nicely with attention to detail unlike many holiday homes. The bed was comfy and it was lovely to have the luxury of under floor heating in the bathroom. Great to find somewhere we could take our dog - a word of warning though, she did escape a couple of times through gaps in the fence!

A complimentary bottle of wine to welcome us was a nice touch We enjoyed using the clean and modern kitchen and bathroom facilities. The shower was great! Unfortunately the beds are very uncomfortable and we did not sleep well on them, which was a shame. The bedrooms are well presented. Apart from the beds, we would highly recommend this lovely bach.

The three of us enjoyed our stay. batch is compact but has been beautifully redecorated. it is only 5 minutes walk to the beach. A few minor niggles, the kitchen/lounge layout doesn't quite work and the tree house needs some TLC. This was my first visit to Waihi Beach in 40 years and we really enjoyed our stay. Waihi Beach is a very chilled, friendly place and is not full of pretentious posers and hideous "chilly bin" mansions , like the Mount/Papamoa area.
