Another lovely stay in a quiet charming country cottage
We have stayed at Trass Valley Cottage several times and love it more each time. It is fabulously clean with everything you might need and some yummy extras! It has a pretty country garden and you can hear the nearby cows gently lowing and the tuis and bellbirds in the garden’s amazing tree canopy. Idyllic. We recommend this stay highly.

Hidden Gem
Perfect place to get away from it all for a few days. The cottage is tucked away in a peaceful and picturesque valley. The gardens and grounds were well maintained and the autumn colours were stunning! Amazing!

Beautiful cottage and gardens
The cottage was immaculate and lovingly cared for along with the beautiful flower garden. Lovely quiet location away from main roads but not too remote. Ideal for exploring Nelson and the Able Tasman area. Very warm welcome from Leesa.

Lovely quiet place to stay
We stayed for a second time as Trass Valley Cottage is comfortable, clean as a whistle and delightful. As well as that it’s quiet and has lovely country views. We will stay again…!

Escape to the country
Trass cottage was beautifully presented. A very peaceful setting while close enough to the nearest shops. Leesa was a fantastic host. Being able to play with the dogs was great for our daughter. Would love to stay again. Highly recommend Trass cottage.

Lovely bach in a good central location
The bach itself is lovely, nice neat and a great space for our family. We stayed here with our three children (11, 10 & 7) and there was plenty of space for them to run around. They loved the owners 2 dogs and cat, they were very friendly and came to say hello every day. The location is nice and central for all we needed in the region, everything was a maximum of an hours drive away. The Kaiteriteri mountain bike park and Spooners Tunnel were definite highlights. The owners also lent us lights to get through the tunnel which was really helpful. Would definitely stay here again :-)

Wonderful place to stay
We loved every minute of our stay -and we will definitely be back to stay the minute we can manage to get there. The cottage is beautifully decorated, extremely well equipped and scrupulously clean in every way but best of all it is quiet and its country outlook is lovely. Leesa and Sam are gracious and thoughtful hosts and we appreciated Leesa's kind and prompt correspondence with us when we had some Bookabach admin problems. She asssited us to sort these well.

Sunshine Valley
Loved the rural setting; the farm cottage was spacious with tasteful decor and well-kept gardens - nice to be able to pick herbs when cooking too. Lots of other nice little touches - including Charlie the snuggly Burmese cat. Leesa was welcoming and pleasant to chat with. Would recommend Trass Cottage and come back again - thanks!

Cosy and warm with a beautiful view
The cottage is only a few minutes drive from Wakefield town centre, sparkling clean and spacious, more than enough for our family of 6. The house has sunshine all day so inside is amazingly warm. The beds and duvets are really comfortable, too. Cellphone reception is good at the front porch. A high shelf full of books/Dvds as well as toys and board games available for all ages. My husband happened to have a vga cable in his laptop bag, so we were able to connect our own laptop to the projector. We arrived in the evening and got to meet Leesa the next morning and she made sure we had everything needed and kindly offered my kids a chance to feed her chickens and they loved it! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would definitely go back if we were in the area again. Highly recommend!

Home away from home in the farm
The best bach experience we have ever had. Thank you so much Lessa and Sam. It is cosy, warm, tidy, clean.. and the list goes on. It had everything we could imagine, so very thoughtful and considerate. And lovely to meet the check out manager Joey. We are definitely coming back!

Gorgeous cottage within peaceful surroundings
We loved our stay here. The cottage was gorgeous and spacious. You can tell a lot of thought and love has been put into this place. A big thank you for the chocolate and milk left in the fridge for us. Only a 30min drive to Nelson. A great place to base oneself while exploring the area.

Delightfull pasture setting, tasteful appointed idealic cottage
This is the curriest cottage. Every detail for a perfect stay has been attended too. Lessa and Sam have created the warmest of warm settings that match their generous hospitality. Peaceful, quiet tranquil, the perfect place to unwind, enjoy a book and leave the digital world behind and discover good conversation, over a glass of wine. Love this place!

The house was beautifully presented, with great attention to interior décor and detail. A lovely quiet situation, with a pleasant view across the valley. Everything was very comfortable, and the owner was extremely friendly, kind and thoughtful.
