Very pleasant stay. Wonderful staff. Great breakfast and ice cream. Rooms were ok. Some cobwebs etc. But overall very nice.

Excellent hotel with friendly staff
The hotel was excellent when travelling with a small dog. The hotel staff was very friendly and always attentive to our needs. The hotel is next to a beautiful park and at a perfect walking distance from downtown Visby. There is a daily dog + dog owners meeting at 8:30 am in the park. It was dog playtime for half an hour. Everyone was welcome. That was one of the highlights of our trip.

Very historical neighborhood and building. The room was spacious with an updated bathroom and an adjustable bed. Breakfast is served on blue willow china - very classy touch.

Lovely room, nice view towards the park
Such a great location within the historic walls of Visby. It was very convenient that they have parking (you have to reserve parking by contacting the hotel directly, there is an additional daily charge). There is NOT a 24-hour front desk, you have to arrange in advance if you will arrive late. Bathroom was tiny small.

Visby gem
Lovely old hotel in a beautiful setting. The room was clean, comfortable, and with an updated private bath. Great breakfast, staff were friendly and helpful.

Quaint hotel located near garden and sea.
Breda Blick is an old hotel with tons of character. Located in the wall surrounding Visby, it's close to the beautiful public garden as well as the coastline. Just a short walk down the street are restaurants, cafes and a great Irish pub with live music on Fridays. The hotel is charming and quirky and the cafe provides a great breakfast for its guests. It's a great value for staying in Visby.

Bumped us Skip this one.
Sadly although we'd made our reservation 2 1/2 months before our stay- when we arrived we were told that they'd given our rooms to a group that was staying longer. ( a day longer ) We objected strongly .. and they insisted it was necessary- they'd had to place people from this large group " All over the city" If they placed them all over in different hotels - why bump us? We didn't get any reasonable explanation for that. but we did give in and move to their "sister" hotel not far away and it was fine. We'd flown from USA took an hour train and a 3 hour ferry to a place we had a confirmed reservation with. The experience left us feeling unhappy and upset. They offered 2 lunches as compensation... it was well past lunch time for the first one.. and we were exploring far from the hotel the next day. If they'd paid for dinner that evening it could have reversed the bad feelings.

Delightful hotel, centrally located
We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel has been recently refurbished and our room was immaculate, tasteful and comfortable, with a lovely view of St Clements Church through the skylight . The hotel is excellently located for sightseeing. The breakfasts are very generous with a wide choice of things to eat. The homemade bread is particularly nice and Steve who provides the breakfast is very friendly, obliging and informative. We did however have a problem with the check-in. There should be a notice and a map on the door of the hotel to say that check in is at the Hotel Gute and where to find it. This information should also appear on the booking confirmation email. We were stumped when the taxi dropped us off and we could not get in to the hotel.

Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker aber Eintönig .Das Zimmer war unter der treppe war leider durch Runterkommende personen sehr Geräusch intensiv. Preis Leistung past.Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Fantastisk frukost, mysig stämning och jättetrevlig och tillmötesgående personal! Våfflor, bacon, omelett, hemgjord yoghurt, smoothies, massor av goda pålägg etc., etc, och underbart att det ligger strax intill botaniska. Rummen mot gården verkar om något ännu bättre än de mot gatan.

Trevligt hotell med utmärkt läge i innerstaden. Bra frukost och frukostpåsen vi fick med oss när vi skulle åka tidigt var mycket bra och fräsch. Kylskåp på rummet.

Det sämsta hotell vi har upplevt. Första rummet litet direkt över köksutblaset. Efter ett temporärt rum skulle vi fa bästa rummet: det var om möjligt ännu mindre med snedtak och 2 kvm badrum med trasigt duschskynke. Vi checkade da ut i förtid. Frukostbyffe´n inte vidarefylld: ingen bacon, äggstanning, juice, juiceglas, servetter. Tva brödskalkar kvar. Trangt och smutsigt frukostrum.

Hej Jan, vi är verkligen ledsna att du fick en sån negativ upplevelse hos oss. Vi har många olika rum och då vi alla har olika preferenser är det svårt att veta vilket rum som passar för just dig. Det var trist att vi inte lyckades möta just dina önskemål. Jag beklagar och hoppas att ni fick en fortsatt fin semester.

Trevligt men rum för förbättring!
Väldigt trevligt ställe lite utanför centrala Visby med lugn och härlig atmosfär. Personalen var väldigt trevlig och tillmötesgående. Däremot var vi lite besvikna på frukosten. Frukostfrallorna var så torra att det kändes som om de var minst 2 dagar gamla, vilket inte alls var särskilt trevligt. Saker tog också slut och tog lång tid innan det fylldes på (även om det inte var supermycket folk i frukosten just då). Det gällde maten likväl som skålar/muggar osv. Städningen hade också kunnat förbättras då de inte verkade dammsuga rummet när det väl städades – vilket hade behövts. Detta känns som två viktiga faktorer förr oss i en hotellvistelse – frukost och städning.

Svårt att hitta rummet på natten (sen ankomst). Kunde skyltats bättre och/eller varit mer upplyst. Hotellets läge och utemiljö perfekt. Bättre beskrivning hur man tar sig till parkeringen borde finnas. Dåliga sängar.

Par resa
Fantastiskt läge i Norra Visby innanför ringmuren. Stor trädgård där man kunde sitta och koppla av. Frukost hade allt det nödvändiga och var bra, dock inget varmt. Personal var trevlig och hjälpsam. Bra sängar.

Olimme kolmannessa kerroksessa ja parvella oli mahdotonta nukkua kuumuuden vuoksi joten raahasimme pedit sieltä alakertaan. Kukaan ei kysynyt oliko liian kuuma/saimmekin nukuttua. Nuori henkilökunta informoi minimaalisesti. Vastauksia sai kysyttäessä ja etukäteisinfo oli ristiriitaista. Aamiainen hyvä mutta toimivuudessa katkoja. Parasta oli sijainti eli meri ja kasvitieteellinen puutarha.
