Good location, however there were issues with cleanliness. The fans in the bedrooms were coated with dust and the exhaust fan in the kitchen was disgusting. The BBQ didn't work properly and no towels provided - despite being told only to bring beach towels. The pool was dirty, little toilet paper and not well stocked. The condiment bottles were empty. Have stayed in much nicer places in Vincentia that are cheaper

Thanks you for your review Fiona, It was disppointing and we will certainly be following these issues up. I have reviewed the correspondence that you were sent and we most definitely reminded you to bring bath and beach towels. This is also noted in our listing on Stayz. I'm so sorry if you felt you were misinformed. I would also have welcomed you to call me from the property so I could attend and check over these issues that you have raised. I received no calls or emails from you to assist. The pool is checked prior to every guest attending, and is professionally serviced once a month. im not sure whether there was bad weather prior to your staty which may account for leaves in the pool? We have not received any report of the BBQ not working. Again, I will investigate now that we have been made aware. The toilet paper is stocked by our cleaner prior to every guest attending. We supply 2 rolls per toilet as a standard, and have never had a complaint about this. We will take on your feedback and thank you for bringing these items to our notice so we can rectify.

Bocce weekend
Property provided a great venue for friends to catch up for a lazy weekend. Shops and beach are very close. House is well appointed with plates / cutlery catering for many guests and pod coffee machine. We’ll be returning.

Beautiful Location, the rest ?
First of all property was in a beautiful location, just up the road from the beach. Plenty of room in house , very comfortable beds, lots of pluses. Now for the minuses, bins were full when arrived, agents were great, rectified issue pretty quickly. General cleanliness of house was ok, until you opened cupboards & drawers in kitchen. We had to rewash all kitchen crockery, cutlery, cups, saucepans, frypans anything we used in the kitchen, (probably left that way by previous tenants), so not blaming owners or cleaners of house. However these things should probably be checked from time to time for cleanliness. Also not very happy with cleanliness of showers. The shower floors in both bathrooms look like they needed a good scrub with bleach. I don’t normally winge about these types of things, but after paying so much for the holiday rental of this home & expensive fees, I would have expected a bit better. I would stay there again as was a great location.

Location was excellent and accomodated our family of 12 although the bedroom near the laundry was very small with nowhere for clothes. The laundry floor has quite a dangerous bow in the floor. It rained the first night and the rain came through the light fitting in the laundry. Very hazardous and needs to be attended too. Light not working in the kitchen and cupboards need a very good clean. Overall we had a lovely stay

We loved the house and location which met our needs of a group of 7 perfectly, also pool and outdoor facilities were very good. We’re very keen for future revisits. Generally we found the house, bedrooms and bathrooms were clean, however kitchen not so, grill not cleaned from previous use, drawers/shelving needed a good wipe out and sorting, bbq and utensils had not been cleaned, no extra garbage bags were supplied, disappointing when a cleaning fee is charged on top of rental costs. No reply from owner when a couple of messages had been sent during the stay.

Great location. Comfortable house with plenty of room.
The location was what we loved most about this place - just a 1 min walk to the beach and you get views of the water from the front lounge room. Plenty of rooms for our large group and the extra studio near the pool was handy as a second living area for the teens/young adults. The downsides were there were kitchen items that were missing (a grater, casserole dishes for microwave use), and the decor was very white and spartan - not overly homey. But these were not major issues for us.

A beautiful house in a beutiful location
We had a wonderful 2 week stay. The house is clean, comfortable, well stocked for cooking. A great location so Close to the water. Lovely in-ground pool. Lots of space for the family to spread out and relax.

Loved the house, so much room for everyone. So close to the beach was fantastic. There was deadbugs on bench tops in kitchen, the pool had the crawler in it but was stuck, leaves and spiders in pool, i just used the scoop on the pole. Hate spiders. Overall we all had a fantastic time.

Great Place
Great location. Would be even better in summer when the sea temperature warms. Plenty of sleeping and entertainment spaces. Good walking distance to Vincentia shops.

AMAZING!!
This house is absolutely stunning, I fell inlove the moment I walked through the door and the beaches near by are absolutely stunning as well, not to mention the walk and scenery. Carolyn was wonderful with communication and let us check out at 12pm on Sunday which was so lovely not having to rush on a Sunday morning.

From start to finish the property manager and the experience was terrific. We happen to be there during a period of horrendous weather, fortunately the house was large enough for us all to accomodate our own areas. Check in and access to the property was a breeze. Perfect spot to the beach.

Great house great location
House was great. We had a great stay. Kitchen had everything you need. Nicely updated. Location incredible. Highly recommend. No complaints at all. Just a few comments so you’re aware. The coffee machine didn’t work. We only got lukewarm light brown water. There was nothing in the kitchen to clean with. No cloths, no tea towels. Nothing to clean bathrooms at the end of the stay. Vacuum didn’t really work either. I emptied it and cleaned out multiple hair balls but it still didn’t suck much. Made it really hard to leave the place clean.

Fabulous house
We were a group ranging from 70 to 2 years old and this house was perfect for us all. The bedrooms fitted us all in easily and the pool room area was a great bonus to help separate the the different age groups. We spent most of our time in the outdoor area, the views were fantastic and the big table was perfect for our big group. The location of the house was great, you couldn’t ask for better. Right at the beach and an easy stroll to the shops for a morning coffee. The only slight problem was the bed in the main bedroom- the central timber support was broken giving the bed a dip in the middle. Despite this we still slept very well and understand that you probably were not even aware it was broken as it is not easily visible unless you look for it. Overall I can’t say enough good things about the house, we all had a great time and didn’t want to leave. We would love to come back again for another family holiday

Great beach escape
We had a wonderful weekend away in Vincentia. The house was very spacious and accommodated 2 families easily. The beach is an easy walk and the pool was very clean. It was close enough to walk (maybe 15mins) to the nearby Coles/shops/cafes. There is a good sized grassed backyard. We would definitely come and stay again.

Fantastic stay
We had an excellent stay. The house was perfectly set up for our family of 8 adults and 4 kids under 3yr old. Great location with easy walking to beaches, shops, parks and walking trails. We will definitely stay here again!

Pleasant Surprise
It was only until after we booked that the photos were updated, and we noticed the whole interior of the house had a very nice renovation done, which made everyone very happy and pleasantly surprised. Inside was clean and stylish, with modern bedrooms and bathrooms, and had more than enough space for all 7 of us. We spent most of our time outside in the undercover alfresco area by the sparkling clean pool (which we took several refreshing dips in), and used the BBQ for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The location is fantastic, being only several meters to the water's edge, a 10-minute walk to the nearby shops, and less than a 10-minute drive to other nice beaches such as Blenheim, Nelson's and Hyams Beach. Overall a great place to stay, and will definitely be coming back in future.

Great Family Holiday
We had a fabulous stay and the property was excellent. Plenty of room for 6 adults and a 6yr old. Multiple living areas for everyone to have their ‘quiet’ time area. New bathrooms and the pool was a big hit with all the family. The location was perfect with the beach across the road. Lovely beach walks along Collingwood and Orion Beaches around Plantation Point to Nelsons Beach. Ease drive to Huskisson and Hyams Beach. Hoping to go back sometime this year.

We arrived at the property after a long day to find the house hadn't been cleaned since the last guests left. I contacted the property manager who sounded confused we were checking in that day but promised to sort it out. She looked for a cleaner but being Sunday afternoon no one was available. With COVID and an 8-month pregnant friend among us, we were concerned to stay in a house that wasn't thoroughly cleaned since previous guests. An hour later the property manager arrived and said she would change the beds and clean the bathrooms herself but we couldn't get a full clean till the following day. I would like to include more information but the character limit prevents it. We were exhausted and hungry, we headed out for dinner to give her time to clean. When we returned at 9pm looking forward to having showers and unpacking and finally starting our holiday, we saw there were no towels. We messaged, but they advised they don't supply towels. There was also a sheet missing from one of the beds. NOTE TO FUTURE VISITORS: you need to bring your own towels. NOTE TO PROPERTY: pls update your listing to advise people of this so they have a better experience. GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS HOUSE. Location is excellent/can see the water from living room/beautiful quiet beach/gorgeous coastal walking track/not far from shops/Kitchen well equipped/Parking easy/Living area spacious. NEGATIVES. House very dated & unclean. We had read the reviews so expected older house & dated decor but not expecting it to be unclean. Bathroom fixtures had an inch of dust/wood rot in some areas/skylights were dusty& full of spider webs/main bathroom had a leak that would wet whole floor (We mentioned this to cleaner when she arrived next morning but she already knew, so I guess they just don't fix things). House extremely musty/There was no toilet paper supplied (just the remaining roll from previous guest, we asked the cleaner for more, but got none). Love the area, would not book this house again.

Awesome Location, Spacious House and Backyard Pool
My Family and I had an amazing Easter Long weekend at this house. The house is dated and does have a 70s vintage vibe, but it does have a charm to it. Heaps of rooms and beds for the family, the backyard was great for entertaining the family and with a beach within walking distance what more could you want. Definitely recommend. :)

Beautiful and quiet
My family and I had an amazing time and the property manager was so wonderful and friendly and so very helpful. Besides finding a fish in the pool (which was quite funny as we think it was a bird who did it), everything was wonderful.

Family Weekend
First impressions not good. House is very dated - 70’s vintage. Carpet dirty and stained and curtains dirty. No insect screens on most of the doors. BBQ and outdoor area also needed cleaning. Kitchen was well stocked with cutlery & crockery. Appliances functional. Plenty of off street parking. Excellent location and plenty of room, but could have been so much nicer if properly maintained. Would really have to think hard about staying there again.

Im so glad you enjoyed your stay. We do employ professional cleaners and do spot audits on the property. This is an older home and does not have the "shine" some newer homes can achieve.
