The location is very good, in the old town next to the Gate of Dawn. The decorations are a bit outdated, but breakfast was good with a medium amount of variety. The staff was very nice and helpful!

Good location, good hotel
A decent hotel in a good location. Clean room and bathroom. Staff friendly enough. As it purports to being a 4* hotel i would have expected a kettle in the room. Also key to the room safe was only given on request which is a bit odd. These are minor drawbacks though, Its a good place to stay.

Fair Hotel
Cozy hotel with great location .. right at the edge of the old town .. close to many restaurants, cafes .. the hotel is basic but fair enough to spend few days at ... even though I thought it needs lots for refurbishments and renovations .. price was high comparing to the hotel’s standard ..

The location is great, the staff was first class. The building is very old making it quaint however the age does make it less comfortable.

Great location
The hotel is in the perfect place to explore the old town. Near plenty of restaurants and bars. Absolutely fantastic location. The hotel itself is ok, nothing glamorous, but perfectly fine. If you’re planning on doing work in the room, a bit more awkward, with the desk and chair not perfect or suited to this. Dinner was good. Breakfast a mix between typical continental and warm / hot typical Lithuanian breakfast e.g. meat in a pancake wrap which was very nice.

Nice location, nice sized room, could have done with another pillow, didnt like the noise from.the summer room outside, was woken a few times by the staff setting up and also the rain on tje canopy

Staff very helpful, however at breakfast they were slow to refill dishes that had run out. Liked that the breakfast had lots of local food. Rooms were very hot and now means of cooling them down. It was hot outside. Opening windows was ok, but we wee at the front and with the window open it was noisy

Ideal hotel for Vilnius City Break
Smart, comfortable, spotless & well-maintained. Friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast in delightful cellar restaurant. Perfect location in the old town, with everything walkable. Pedestrianised street, so quiet at night.

located right in the heart of Vilnius Old Town
Hotel is located right in the heart of Vilnius Old Town, next to Gate of Dawn, Lithuanian National Philarmonic and Orthodox churche. Many coffee shops, bars, pubs, restourants around, its very lively/ noisy street with many tourists and locals, but inside hotel is nice and quiet. Plenty attractions on foot or you can get taxi ( quite cheep taxi), from Royal hotel to Akropolis ( largest shopping and entertaining centre) cost approx. 6-7 euros.

There was nothing basically wrong with the hotel but I arrived at 1am and the bed linen was slightly damp. It was cool temperature anyway and this didnt help - at least it was clean!

Excellent hotel for visitors from the U.S.
This is a fine hotel in a great location in Vilnius. The staff is knowledgable and makes it comfortable for visitors from the U.S. We would stay there again happily.

The elevator was out of order (more on this later). They initially gave me a room on the first floor in the back. I refused it because aI could not get my big suitcase the very narrow spiral staircase. They put me up in a great room on the 3rd floor. I am giving this hotel a bad rating because of the elevator issue. I arrived on a Saturday and was told that the elevator would be fixed on Monday; I left on Tuesday and it was still not fixed. I do not think that this elevator is ever going to get fixed. Make sure to ask if the elevator is working before you decide to book this hotel. s

Excellent location
The location of this hotel is excellent. Everything is in walking distance no need to use transport. Staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good a wide choice was available and was kept well stocked. Room was clean and the underfloor heating in the bathroom was lovely. There are lots of Resturants and good bars near by. We did eat in the hotels resturant which again was excellent and not expensive. I would recommend this hotel.

Hotel only 15 minutes from Ground
Pleasant hotel, plenty of bars & restaurants in walking distance. The football ground is a short 15 minute walk. The bar in the hotel closed by 11:00. &10:00 on Sunday. Not sure if they had run out of beer & food though. We stayed out the back in the court yard very large room upstairs. Shower only & a little tight if you have a large frame. Tv in room large screen, but limited on english speaking channels. The Hotel manager dealt with a small problem & was extremely professional & spoke very good english. The breakfast was very good lots to choose from. pleasant surroundings coffee on tap fruit, cereal, cold meats & cheese. pickles herring & salmon, Hot buffet frankfurter beans bacon, hot veg, Pancakes different fillings. Toaster breads, jams. Pastries. If I come back would stay here again.

The Europa Vilinius was a sweet trip to a different era. The staff was very friendly . The hotel is what it is, the furnising is very 1950, red, fuzzy material.The location is excellent. We found s great guide through a local guide service, she was well worth theprice and thetme that we spent with her a.she gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants.

nice hotel in great location
The best part of the hotel is location in Old Town area, close to good restaurants and bars. We stayed for two nights and returned for another night. First room was OK although could do with updating. The room for our second visit was much nicer with a small balcony overlooking the street. The hotel has a lovely restaurant and bar with beer garden. Breakfast is particularly generous. Would highly recommend.

Great location but needs some modernisation.
First time staying here. The location is excellent for the Old Town, and everything around is within walking distance, which is one main reason why I chose it. Service is good, and they quickly responded to my request for an airport transfer. It's also clean. But, the room and general decor and amenities look and feel extremely dated and tired. It needs a refurbishment inside, to bring it into the current age.
