Hi there, we’re so sorry to hear that everything wasn’t up to your satisfaction. We would have really loved to help address some of these points if you had communicated them when we checked in on how things were going during the duration of your stay. This is the first four-star review we have received under our management. We have worked very hard to earn the 5-star rating we built from over 40+ rave reviews by providing a wonderful experience for our renters. And we take pride in the long-term relationships we maintain with our renters who love to return to Blue Oasis. So it comes as a surprise that you were disgruntled with a few things that we could have sorted out during your stay. As per the linens, it has always been our policy, which we tell our renters, that we provide one set of bedsheets, blankets, and towels (face, hair, bath, and beach towels) per each guest. We are a dedicated but small beach house rental and don’t have the capabilities of a hotel to provide multiple extra sets of towels, which is also wasteful of water and energy. The in-house washer and dryer is for any mid-stay refresh that you may want to do for your linens, but we have never had any renters raise an issue with the quantity of our linens, which is again a complete set for each person. If you had raised this prior to your arrival, we could have tried to accommodate your request. As for the outdoor space, aside from the great view, we have also lovingly cultivated a lush and flowering garden that is also decked out with beautiful lights that come on at night, which was present during your stay. We have never had any issues with our outdoor furniture either, given we provide dining chairs, lounge chairs, bar chairs, and even a swing on the deck, and two more Adirondack chairs on the landing by the beach (not including all the beach chairs we provide). Most of our renters thoroughly enjoy the lovely garden and variety of outdoor seating we have. We have a bookshelf full of books in the third-floor bedroom (as depicted on this listing) and a cabinet full of all kinds of board games for all ages in the living room, which we could have directed you to if you had asked. In addition to those items, I must strongly disagree that the house is indeed quite homey, from the moment you walk in with our personalized welcome tray to the fully stocked kitchen to the warm and welcoming, family-centric messages on the decor throughout the house. We put our all into the quality and hospitality of Blue Oasis and will continue to serve our renters with this commitment to such.
