"Booked a room with a lake view - was not disappointed. Beautiful view of green grass and the lake. Odd check in times (10 am - 2 pm), but even though we arrived late, the owner was kind enough to check us in at 7:30 pm. Without the navigation system in our Volkswagen Touran, it would have been difficult to find the hotel. The room had a small kitchenette, which was very nice. "The hotel is right at the heart of the city Villach. It has a special charm as the building is historic, but all facilities and rooms are brought up to standard and met our expectations. At 8:30am in the morning you will hear the church bell (two strikes to announce the half hour) as it is custom in many of the mid-town hotels in Austria.
