Amazing views and comfy rooms
The hotel is perfectly situated for amazing lake views. The staff is friendly, breakfast was very tasty, and the rooms are comfy and cozy. The reason it's not a 5-star review is (1) they failed to service our room one of the three days we were there and (2) there were some condition issues of the hotel grounds - the hot tub was questionable at best and the dock on the lake was dangerously weathered. Despite that, I would recommend.

Beautiful view
The view is amazing. One wonderful lady Ileene working reception, bar tender (minimal choices). Have to leave property for meals other than breakfast but can order and have delivered from other restaurants. Suggest having a car if staying there.

Beautiful location with amazing views from rooms and terraces. Pleasant rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast choice is perhaps a little limited, though quality is fine.

Fantastic location overlooking the lake and mountains, llovely interior and room, good breakfast, staff excellent. Awkward ( but very picturesque) access along steep very winding drive proved less problematic than we first thought, bearing in mind that the hotel had no restaurant, and was 3 km from the town. Minor fault - the fan in the jacuzzi didn’t work.

Amazing lake and mountain views, quiet
Beautiful properly next to the lake with large windows and simply amazing views to the lake and the mountains in the background. Large rooms. A quick drive to the Villa La Angostura town, even walkable as there's a pedestrian path next to the road. Simple but nice breakfast with amazing views.

Gorgeous setting. Outstanding views of lake and snow peaked mountains. The absence of a formal restaurant might disappoint some. Rooms get hot with afternoon sun.

Great site and service
Service was excellent. Especially Fernanda at the front desk, whose persistence paid off in tracking down my phone (lost in Vila Angoustura). Facilities are lovely, best of all is the quiet and beautiful lakeside location. Room was very nice, with a great view. Breakfast was great. Only slight flaw - cleanliness and attention to detail was sometimes a little lacking. The otherwise beautiful jacuzzi in our room was a bit dirty. And the pool looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Still overall I’d recommend it.

Spectacular Views
Our stay at the Don El Faro Boutique Hotel & Spa was wonderful. The hotel is on the lake and has the most incredible views over the water to the mountains. Breathtaking. The hotel is small and quiet - staff are friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is disappointing and unimaginative - there are few options and the hotel didn't cater for our specific requirement, we had to adjust to their options (not quite boutique). Still, none of this takes away from a wonderful experience in a beautiful location.

Hotel está num local espetacular na beira do lago. O quarto é completo e muito espaçoso. Destaque pra varanda e pra hidro do banheiro com vista pro lago. Só achei que algumas áreas como Academia e piscina poderiam estar melhor cuidadas. O café da manhã muito bom e completo.

Un hotel con encanto
La vista fue la mejor de Villa La Angostura. La habitación capturaba todo el escenario natural ya que era muy grande. El personal muy amable, y el desayuno también muy lindo. Tiene un faro que se puede subir, y es impactante. La ubicación es como todo en VLA, un poquito alejado, que está bien para tranquilidad. Para bajar hasta el hotel en auto es necesario cierta habilidad al volante. Muy predispuesto el personal. El hotel está en buenas condiciones pero ya necesitaría algunos mantenimientos adicionales.

Excelente estadía. Muy buena atención, servicios y vistas. El único comentario para hacer es que las cortinas no tienen black out y muy temprano entra mucha luz. Además el servicio de calefacción zumba mucho. Por lo demás 10 puntos!

Pagas por la Vista y el Lugar no por instalaciones
Nos encontramos que no respetan el mismo tipo de cambio de moneda que toma hotel.com, pagamos un 5% de más. Nos invitaron una cena lo cual fue muy lindo para compensar. La habitación de falta pintura en el techo, en el Spa no había personal para encender el Hidrómasajes, la temp del agua excelente, lindo el hotel pero poco personal para mantenimiento, creo que pagas por la vista y por el lugar, no por el servicio y calidad de las instalaciones.

Muy linda vista desde la habitación, pero no hay seguridad en los ventanales que daban de la habitación a la pileta ni tampoco eran polarizados así que teníamos que tener las cortinas cerradas. Desayuno normal, ubicación buena, estacionamiento complejo y escaso, instalaciones con poco mantenimiento. No lo recomendaría en relación precio-calidad.
