From the moment we arrived the staff looked after us and tirelessly made every effort to ensure our comfort and happiness. This hotel doesn't have any of the typical hallmarks of chain hotels, it had a level of sophistication and a personal level of hospitality I have never experienced at a Hilton or Intercontinental and for what is worth I have always enjoyed my stay in those hotels also. This hotel was a place that has to be experienced to appreciate it. Each room was individually decorated and contained original artwork throughout. I only wish we could have stayed longer. 4 stars doesn't do it justice, this was a 5 star hotel in every aspect that I expect. We will be back!

We arrived very tired after our flight and were greeted warmly and best of all were upgraded to a higher level of room as there was nothing available at what we'd booked at. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was very modern with all the amenities. The hotel was clean and well kept. We had dinner in the restaurant and the service and food was excellent. We spent some time in the bar and once again service was excellent. Two gentlemen entertained us for part of the evening with some light jazz.
This hotel is in an ideal position, within walking distance to many of the attractions Vienna has to offer and with an underground station just outside the hotel easy to get to any destination.
Our room, on the 5th floor, was excellent, very large and very nicely furnished with a large amount of storage and a very good bathroom. It was somewhat warm and we had the windows open for our entire stay otherwise very comfortable. Do ask for extra pillows as they are soewhat thin, unless you like laying flat!
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast staff excellent. Breakfast was very good with a wide choice but unless it is included in the price of your booking is very expensive.
We stayed in a standard, or classic, room which was modern, comfortable and spacious. It is easy to reach from the airport by taking the S7 train; the hotel is a few minutes’ walk form Praterstern station. It only takes 15 minutes to walk to the centre of the city; or there are 2 underground stations nearby. We found the transport network easy to use. The area around the hotel was OK, but immediately outside Praterstern station felt unsafe at night.
The breakfast was great; it is all you could want, with lots of choice of fresh food that was constantly replenished. The staff were all helpful and friendly.
It was the care to detail throughout that made this hotel special; from the cleanliness, decoration, comfortable outdoor area, and free wi-fi in the room, to the standards of furniture and fittings in all areas.
We stayed for 7 nights and would be happy to stay here again.

The person to whom we were to collect the keys was very abrubt and in fact demanded why we were not there at 10.00 when in fact we had been sitting outside since 09.00 and we could not enter due to an external door that was locked. It made for our first encouter to be a little stressful as we felt that we were being 'dressed down'. Seemed a littlkke unprofessional. Howevr the apartment was perfect, clean bright comfortable and very well situated. We would book again for sure but hopefully with a polite and happy key exchange, five stars for the apartment though.
