They did keep up with the changing amenities which is much appreciated except that TV remote that man came in to work on it without luck but showed us the way around. Outage lasted from 8:30 to 11:00 due to severe storm. Three hours lost not the hotel's fault.

I stayed one night with one little dog and was charged a pet fee of $33.00. Ridiculous!!!!

Thank you for your review. We appreciate your feedback. Pam, we inform you of the pet fee at check-in. In our area pet fees go upward of 150.00. I am sure that you are aware that most Hotels charge pet fees. It does not matter if you do is only 5lbs, we have to deep clean the rooms after every stay because we have guest that may be allergic. We do our best to accommodate everyone. Because you like to travel or need to travel with your pet, we do not exclude you from staying with us. And we also do not over charge as some hotels do. But as you continue to travel with your pet you will see that our rate is not so Ridiculous. And you had a clean room with a full hot buffet breakfast.
I was concerned when we arrived because it was outdoor drive up rooms, but was pleasantly surprised, the rooms are very nice and very clean. We booked here because it was pet friendly and has a great place for your pet to roam. The breakfast is great as well

The property is old and the pet fee is ridiculous. We stayed in another Best Western in Amarillo who charged a $30 pet fee and this run down place charged $31 PER PET. We have 3 small dogs that don't even equal one lab-sized dog! So the cost of having pets was about the same as our room charge. Not worth it at all!

Well Caralyn I'm sorry your feel that way. Our pet fee is 30 per pet, and there are places that charge way more than we do. I will take the it that you called us run down, as your just upet because of our pet fee. There are plenty of hotels in this area that you could have stayed. We ask for a pet fee because we have to deep clean behind every guest that bring a pet. There are some guests that bring there pets and they are not always clean. They allow there pets to use the bathroom in our rooms and leave it without saying a word. Our guests that choose to travel without their pets or have no pets do not want to go in a room and find that a pet has been there. Also, we have guests that have allergy to some pets. Either way, there are several reasons why we have pet fee's but you have the option to pay our 30.00 plus tax or not.

Our stay was satisfactory. Room was nice. The bed was comfortable. Staf was very helpful in finding a place to eat near by. I would recommend them.

Great stay. Easy, pleasant check-in, clean, nice room, nothing beat up, all quite nice and as expected. Close walking distance to a grocery store as well as to convenient store as well.

We immediately smelled dog when we entered our room ... too tired to change rooms. An old hotel but no excuse for dirty & smelly. We were disappointed!

The hotel clerk was very nice She explained how to use the shower. Due to our age the clerk switched our room to the bottom floor Breakfast was with eggs bacon biscuits etc. The room was clean beds were comfortable. Chinese restaurant Waffle House and grocery store located next door The military battlefield was less than a mile away

Thank you for your review. However, Wendy it's hard to address this situation because you were not present. As per hotel policy, we require the name of the person who will be checking in to the room at the time of booking. This is for the security and privacy of our guests. Our number one policy is always the security and safety of our guests. Hopefully this will help to enlighten you in the future. So you know my front desk was not mad and uncooperative she was just doing her job. Have a great day.
