Art on every wall. Room with a view. Backed on to the canal for easy water taxi access. Staff were lovely, helpful. Breakfast was a delectable assortment.

Wonderful hotel with fantastic location. 2 minutes to Piazza, even inexpensive pasta restaurants nearby, grocery store is five minutes, gondolas next to it, and if you have the money, a dock for water taxi at the side. Our room was very quiet, and many selections for breakfast. Bathroom was roomy!

Everything was within walking distance and the room was larger than expected. The staff were very friendly. I’d definitely stay here again when returning to Venice.

Beautiful location! Room was clean, great bathroom. Breakfast un-inspiring. Furniture should be more comfortable including mattress which was very hard. Power sockets difficult to access. Difficult to regulate room temperature.

Lovely little place
Stayed in a single room which was ideal . Very clean & comfy. Close to restaurants, shops and good walking distance to boats & museums etc. 5-7 minute walk from San Marco Aliguna station or 20 minutes if using aliguna A stop on the other side of town . (€27 return fare ) Would stay here again . A few noisy guests sitting outside until 2am at this / adjoining hotel made for a few restless nights and the room temperature was preset which was set too high , couldn’t activate the cool function which was frustrating.

Was lovely! Clean but it is in the walking district so be prepared for people possibly selling something and being very loud down below. But perfect spot to walk to at marks square and about 30min walk to train station. A lot of stairs so be prepared when walking with luggage to and from train station. Breakfast was great. Coffee machine and lots of food options from eggs to cereal. Earlier the better for seating. Definitely recommend

This hotel is very nice located near San Marco piazza. We had the junior suite with a canal view, huge room with a big bed. The bathroom is very nice too except the shower is so small in a big bathroom. Luckily my husband and I are pretty slim otherwise might be too hard to turn around. The breakfast was incredibly, so many options and the friendly staff are so helpful.

I've had better stays previously...
We were not allocated a suite, we had a double bed in a room when we were supposed to have a double and a single. We were locked in the room and had to call down to reception to let us out. I've had better stays I'm afraid.

This hotel is around a 3 minute walk from St Mark’s Square -but far away enough from the hustle and bustle. As all old Venetian buildings, it is old with minimal facilities (no spa/gym/0pool etc) but it is a great hotel for visiting Venice. Staff have been friendly and helpful. On the whole the hotel is quiet but sometimes the small canal can be a tad noisy when deliveries are being made to local hotels. I would definitely re-book and recommend. I was here outside of school holidays - so haven’t had children running around.

Very good during the week for the most part. Staffing in their bar was generally not there so we spent our money down the street where they would jump through hoops to accommodate anything we wished for.

It is clean. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is also good. The ceiling of room is really higher that any ones I stayed before. It is so comfortable. A restaurant is just a couple of steps out of the hotel. Other restaurants are 1 minutes away. It is maybe 2 minutes away to San Macro squares. We like this hotel.

This is not a suggestion but accolades. There was a night when the alarm went off at 2:45. The night manager, his name started with a “G”. He was calm and respectful, responded appropriately do guest and handled the problem well. Thank you for a window into the beautiful world of Venice.

Great location and so in the middle of everything but yet the room was peaceful and a gorgeous view of the canal. Staff and hotel lovely. Only criticism was the sheets on the bed were too small and ended up exposing the mattresses most nights.

The hotels in a great location that’s his main attribute the rooms were dated in a bit small but that’s expected in Venice. But it was the dead of summer and the AC was very weak very hard to sleep in that heat. If they updated the air-conditioning’s it would’ve made the experience much better

We have done a lass minute booking here. It was easy to find, very close from Piazza San Marco, breakfast is very good. From the water taxi/water bus stop, S.Marco-S.Zaccaria, It was an easy 4min walk with 4 heavy bags. We were 2 adults and a 7 year old. Location and vaule for money

I would not recommend this hotel for your visit to Venice. The only good thing about this hotel is it’s location (3 minutes from San Marco Square). The hotel is in need of serious renovations and for a 4-star hotel, it did not meet that expedition. Additionally, the photos on Expedia do not accurately depict the hotel or the rooms. I had a long conversation with the Staff after I booked a Junior Suite with a Canal view and was given what seemed to be a double room with no canal view. Eventually, I was given the junior suite I paid for but the room was a handicap room and was in poor condition. The breakfast was ok, there was a ceiling water leak outside our room door, and the shower in the room leaked consistently.

Dear Guests, we apologize you haven't spent good time with us but we assure you that the room given is a wonderful junior suite with one of the best canal view of the Hotel. Room and bathroom are both spacious and comfortable and we do not think that giving accessibility to all our guests is a default...we consider it a plus! Hotel has been recently renovated and we improve our services and quality every day.
