The staff overall were amazing the facility however was OLD and the rae was very rough . lots of Homeless and Ill people yelling at you as you walked on the street . gangs on the waterfront . the parking situation wasnt ideal and to be honest when we got in the room we almost left imediatley . the noise from the Sytrain was non stop at the back of the hotel where our room was .Honestly the staff were so much better than the hotel. TV didnt work. air conditionar plugged into extension cord . toillet ran on ... I didnt know the aerea and while there were places to go to eat the street life was less than encouraging

However, we apologize for the condition of the facility did not meet your expectations and that the surrounding area made you uncomfortable. We understand how important a peaceful environment is for our guests, and we are sorry for the disturbances caused by the Sky train noise and other external factors. Being located in the busiest part of Downtown New Westminster, we are within walking distance of public transportation, which can be both a convenience and a challenge. Your comments about the TV, air conditioner, and toilet have been noted. We encourage guests to call the front desk right away so we can fix any issues immediately. We also offer the option to transfer or upgrade to a different room if needed. Regarding parking, it is clearly stated on our website, booking sites, and in the welcome confirmation that parking is located across the street from the hotel. The hotel provides a voucher allowing guests the privilege of in-and-out access and extended parking until 1 PM the next day. We hope you might consider giving us another chance in the future. The room was adequate for our needs but you might want to place a reminder in the bathroom to use the mat in the tub when taking a shower. I slipped and fell. It was very frightening. The mat was there but most hotels have a non-slip floor in the tub so I didn't think to use it.

No grab bars in showers which is very unsafe. Drug users on the sidewalk near hotel entrance. When we left the young man at the front desk didn’t acknowledge us or offer to help us put our luggage on the sidewalk. My husband and I are in our 80’s so a helping hand would have been appreciated. I don’t recommend this hotel.

Was handy location for a 1 nite stay at a reasonable price outside of Van. Our room/window was right beside the Skytrain station so was a little noisy. Use the hotel supplied earplugs and you should be fine.

The hotel's reception was open 24 hrs.which was great as our flight was delayed. Behind the hotel is a train transit station that seems to run constantly, so if you are a light sleeper be sure to use the ear plugs that the hotel supplies. The hotel does not have parking but it is available for a price nearby.

Comfortable bed and clean bedroom. Daily room house keeping. Super nice at the front desk. Handy pub next door and off sales. Close walk to Skytrain. Nice boardwalk near by. Coffee shops and restaurants close by. Have stayed a few times for the same reasons. We stayed on third floor facing street. Very little noise. Slept well. Air conditioning in room. The ceiling fan could use a little WD40.

The place was ok for a short stay, easy access to transport and coffee places around it. The room was clean as well the toilet. Bed quite uncomfortable with a extreme soft mattress, may be needs some Update. The room was cold tho, we could hear all the noises from the street and train all night. But in general was a positive experience. They were a lot of communication from the staff

This hotel was right by the skytrain station, which we found to be quite convenient. There were many restaurants within walking distance which gave us options for meals. It was somewhat dated and a bit noisy from the train, but overall very clean, and would recommend.
