Excellent location - great beds - nice and quiet.

“This is a Good One”

The motel was conveniently situated near a few restaurants, which made looking for a place to eat (in the rain!) easy. It was clean, well-kept, and the chambermaid service was excellent. Front-end staff were very helpful with my many questions.

Hotel staff were quite helpful. Being that it was close to the Olympics you could see some of the strain the staff were under. But they were striving for excellence! I would recommend this hotel to everyone. Only two complaints, thermostat in room was too settings, too hot or too cold! Too many people at continental breakfast and nowhere to sit.

“Perfect Location”

We had a nice stay at the Grouse Inn. Pool was clean and warm. Rooms were nice for the price and the location was great. I had an awsome 1 hour walk over the bridge that went to down town and back. Continental breakfast wasn't much to brag about but it was free and you don't see that much these days. Oh and the wireless internet was also free and easy to use.

“more than our money's worth”

Before getting to the hotel we were a bit concerned because of some of the iffy reviews and because we got a room at such an incredibly low price, but we were only staying one night after attending an evening wedding reception at Grouse Mountain. But when we checked in, the staff were great, our room was very clean and very comfortable, and it was really more than adequate especially for the price! I think the bed was brand new, and extremely comfy. We were pleasantly surprised. Granted it's not a new place and some of the furnishings and decor are a bit dated, but that didn't detract from the cleanliness and comfort of the room - which even included a basic but adequate breakfast. it was certainly worth the price. We would stay there again.

Grouse Inn was in an excellent location. Desk people were wonderful. Continental breakfast was awesome. Room very comfortable. Pool great. Beautiful view from second floor balcony. Loved it and will go back again next year.

“good location”

Compared to downtown Vancouver rates, this was extremely affordable. Close to downtown and close to mountain activities without parking hassle of staying right downtown. Close to parks.

“Great service, great room and great location!”

The stay here was great, service was friendly, the room was clean. A great view to the mountains, close to Capillano Suspension Bridge and Grouse Mountain for tourists. Also within close proximity to the ferry and it was a great place to stay at! I like waking up and having a shower that has pressure and this one did. It was great, the bathroom was spotless and I have never been to a room that was so cozy, and very clean!

“Highly Recommended”

For the price, I thought this hotel was great. Staff very friendly; large, clean, comfortable room with a king-size bed; substantial breakfast. The location is great too: I could see the mountains from my window. Highly recommended for those on a budget.
