"My go-to lodging in Valentine. Attentive management. (Check out is 11am and I got the knock at 11:01.) Decent rooms, with above-average beds and HVAC. Bathroom is clean and functional. The fridge and microwave worked well. Could some things be better? Sure, for the price. Not surprising, but I've found that some rooms seem a little better than others. For example, this time my bathroom window wouldn't open (as I'd prefer). You're going to hear your neighbors a bit, or more--in summertime. Not this property's doing, but the restaurant options in Valentine have noticeably decreased. Consider the steakhouse in Kilgore to the east. Also, the main streeet bookstore is a must-stop."
