"Baros is a dream destination, located in between a lagoon and a beautiful reef. By the way, the house reef is incredible and you can spot many species, including sharks, turtles, rays and hundreds of species of fish. "We loved our time spent at VARU! The staff was super friendly and helpful! Lea at the Alena Spa was great! Balal took great care of our room and made sure we had plenty of water. Sonu was a fantastic hostess at Lime and Chili. Fiaz was such a sweet waiter, and Rahul was a fantastic manager. The grounds are gorgeous and the water is incredible! We went May 3-9th and the monsoons started about 3/4 of the way through the trip, but we loved it! Cooled the weather down a little bit. Lots of options...

"Loved the feeling of being on a secluded, peaceful island that felt authentic in design and decor rather than like a Westernized modern hotel. The staff were incredibly nice. There was a variety of delicious and fresh food everyday. The sea activities were plentiful. The massage at the spa was deeply restful and high quality. We stayed at three different places in the Maldives and this was our favorite. "
