Very comfortable but it had a terrible spell in the room .it was clean.but the odor was terrible and it got worse at night. The hotel clerk Bina was the best. I could not have ask for a more nicer ,kinder person you could ask for. But the smell in the room was terrible. But thank you so much Bina for caring so much.
My overall rating was "only" OK because of the remodeling work going on. From time to time there was a slight inconvenience getting around the work being done. If it wasn't for the remodeling work going on, I would have rated it much higher. The hotel is/was in need of some upgrades and those are all happening now. We travel to Charlotte 3 or 4 times a year and we WILL be returning to the Country Inn and Suites. I can't wait to see it after all of the remodeling is done.
My family was in town for a MLL Charlotte Hounds game. We could not have chosen a better place to stay. Friendly, attentive staff. Very clean and comfortable with modern updates. The complimentary hot foods and beverages each evening and the buffet breakfast was such a nice bonus! I would not hesitant recommending this hotel to anyone.

I was somewhat nervous after booking a room and reading the reviews. I had prepared myself for almost anything. Myself and 3 others were staying for an event in Concord that had ALL of the other hotels in the area booked up. I was pleasantly surprised when we got to the hotel. The staff was nice, the room was nice and we didn't have any issues the 3 nights we stayed. I would stay there again.
We stayed for one night for a concert at the PNC Pavilion and had a very pleasant experience. The staff was friendly, the room clean, the facilities quiet, the coffee always available in the lobby, and the breakfast was basic hotel fare, but good. No complaints from us, will definitely stay again.
Research thrives in University Place, with the University of North Carolina at Charlotte at its core. This state school harnesses brain power to find engineering, chemical, and nanoscale breakthroughs. IBM maintains a large campus a mile west of the university. Nearby, the Lowe’s Motor Speedway can lure more than 160,000 spectators during race days.
