Overall our stay at this place was excellent. Staff are very courteous, friendly and responded promptly to all our requests. Car hire was easy and the drivers were very good. Good breakfast and afternoon tea.

The property is beautiful and the staff amazing. The pool villas are well appointed, and the pools are well taken care of. Be prepared for a bit of a hike to get to them, but they are worth the walk. The restaurant has a nice variety of Malaysian and Western food and the quality is excellent. Staff went out of their way to accomodate all our requests and were very helpful. The shuttle into Ubud Centre runs regularly. I would recommend to anyone who wants a first class resort experience!

The Udaya resort and spa is absolutely gorgeous. The property and amenities are beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and well equipped, the restaurant offers great and tasty choices for both breakfast and dinner, the spa is AMAZING and affordable, the hotel offers a reliable and convenient shuttle to and from the Ubud city center, and the staff at the hotel are extremely friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the Ubud area.

Excellent Experience to End an Excellent Trip
What a perfect stay!? We stayed at the resort for 2 nights in one of the pool suites. The suite was well-appointed and comfortable. The pool area in our suite was spotless and private allowing us to use it with absolute comfort. The staff was incredibly attentive as we ordered room service several times and it always arrived fresh and quickly. Finally, we got excellent spa treatments. The only constructive feedback I would provide is that the air conditioning in the room could be a little bit more powerful as the room was warm at times, but otherwise, it was an excellent experience. This is a lovely hotel just outside the town centre. Easy access with a free shuttle into town and back or 50000 rupiah for a taxi if want to stay out a bit later. Grounds are well kept and staff are ever so friendly and accommodating of your every need. Unfortunately though we were in a duplex villa with pool (Bunut) with building work both next to us and opposite. Really couldn't enjoy the pool with any privacy during most days as always being overlooked. Very disappointed by this. My partners hair also turned green from the chemicals in the water. Did speak to the manager about this who was apologetic and said he would look into the PH levels but that's not much compensation to my partner who was having a meltdown with 2 weeks left of the holiday while looking like Orville the duck. The larger main fridge didn't work in the room either. The lower decking by the main pool is rotting and dangerous and i wouldn't expect this of a 2star hotel let alone a 4/5 star and is a accident waiting to happen. Most people wouldn't see or encounter the problems we did but it did spoil our stay unfortunately.

We understand how this situation can impact your experience. There was a construction around our resort area, we are aware how this may distrub our guests' comfort. Hence, we have put a notice in our website about the construction so that our guests would know what to expect when booking the room with us. We also have our team in-charge to monitor the construction regularly so that the noise will stay under control. We're incredibly sorry that our efforts were still lacking and could not prevent your lack of experience with us, sir.We also regret to know the accident your partner had with hair discoloration. Although chlorine and copper are not harmful substance, we understand we need to properly control the amount for the best condition of our pool. We can't apologize enough for causing you this frustation. But we will surely have this discussed with our management and be more careful in performing our pool maintenance so this situation will not happen again. We would also to sincerely apologize for our fridge malfunction and the issue with our main pool. We always make sure to do routine maintenance to our home and properly check our room before arrival of our guests to ensure everything is working well. We are deeply sorry these problems went unnoticed by us, but we kindly thank you for letting us know about this. We had our team look over them and the pool deck is currently already listed in our work order. We will certainly work on it as soon as possible within this year. We will make sure to always be attentive to every details around our home for our guests' best comforts.Once again, we would like to kindly thank you for giving us an opportunity to welcome you to our home. Totally recommend this hotel!
Amazing place to stay! Staff super friendly and helped us organize our days to make the most out of Ubud. They had awesome suggestions! Booked a tour with them, cooking class (which was amazing!). Location is in a quiet area, but they have a free shuttle service (10 min drive) to the Palace every hour. They had different activities like a Balinese dance, live music at dinner, morning walk, etc., 100% recommend this hotel!

If me and my wife could give this hotel more than 5 stars rating we would. Staff: Amazing, Helpful, kind, cheerful, welcoming, very informative! Activities : The hotel was very responsive and helpful when we wanted to ask them about the activities. They arrange drivers and coordinate with the activity company. They arranged an ATV/Rafting active (Must Do!) for us with an amazing discount included lunch and a car to take us from and back to the hotel The hotel : Amazing facilities Amazing spa (we did the massages and bath and scrubbing) 10/10. Beautiful pool Spacious clean amazing rooms (we gotgarden suite, with a good TV with Netflix and YouTube) I'm definitely coming back here with the widest smile if I was to visit Ubud again. We rented a private pool villa at the Udaya for a week for our honeymoon. It was incredible! We were transported from Kuta to Udaya by an employee named Putra. He was so incredible to talk to and knowledgeable we asked for him to be our tour guide the next day, and he was! Wonderdul person, if you are staying, ask for Putra! Our amenities were spectacular. It is a hidden gem that is only a 10 minute drive from Ubud city center. They have a free shuttle that takes you there and back every hour but even if you use local transportation, it is very inexpesive. The food included as breakfast was amazing. We also did two spa services, both were wonderdul...the couples massage with a citrus bath and couples massage with celebration of flowers. People complained or the mosquitoes in some reviees, but we didnt have a problem because i brought bug spray and sprayed it around our porch. This place was incredible!

The grounds at Udaya are gorgeous, my Garden Suite was huge with a beautiful bathtub and rock steps over a stream leading to my door. There are beautiful yoga rooms and yoga offered daily. Breakfast is fresh, plentiful, and delicious. The spa and treatments are amazing and the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful.

This is a 5 star hotel which really lives up to all the ratings. Wonderful staff that great you with a smile all the time. The jungle setting is striking! The architecture is first class. The special dinner in the bamboo hut with all the flowers was so special. Daily breakfast was either Asian or “American” and always prepared to perfection! Our room was great and the location near the pool also was very good. We did explore the facility and walked over a bridge with a river 50 feet below. I would strongly recommend this facility as one of the best exotic hotels we have stayed in! J

This is a FANTASTIC property if you want a visit to ubud. my wife and i came here for our honeymoon and spent 4 nights here and actually stayed in 3 different room options each night just to get a feel for each. Overall loved the rooms, the easy transport to city center in a 7 min free shuttle and the personal service especially their ability to do the flower baths for you is just unbelievable and their spa too. A bit more specifics now: 1. Location- resort is located about 5-7 minutes from the ubud city center but definitely not "out there" like i thought. shuttles run every hour from the hotel to the city center and it's super easy to get to. was nice to not be in the hustle and bustle of the city center but have easy access to it whenever we wanted. great location to explore ubud and surrounding areas. 2. rooms- we stayed in all 3 rooms- the garden view room, the pool suite and the pool villa. all 3 were absolutely fantastic and totally reasonably priced considering what you get. if you don't want the pay extra for the pool room, don't worry the garden room is just as beautiful. the pool suite, also gorgeous and the pool villa just more space and a larger pool. the pool villa is where they did a personalized design in our pool for us with our names and a happy honeymoon for $100. Was the most elaborate flower decor we had ever seen in our life. it took them 3 hours to make the flower decor in our pool so $100 is nothing compared to what they did with it.
