Not as advertised
The photos of the property were apparently staged with rented furnishings. The actual furniture was shabby, the bathroom floor dirty, the carpets dirty, the lights had no ceiling fixtures. As a “bach” for a lower price and with honest representation it would have been acceptable, but as a rental for top dollar and misrepresented it was disappointing. We never looked forward to returning to the cottage after a day of exploring the beautiful area. On the positive side, the beds were comfortable and the area restaurants were good. Renter beware.

Great cottage
Cottage was a really good size in a quiet street close to main highway and tourist attractions. Garden was great for our two small dogs to run around. We'd happily have stayed longer if we'd had the time

Great sunny location with plenty of wood to keep us all warm.
A comfortable simple house with plenty of space inside and out. Lovely warm fire and sunny backyard. The water pressure was not so great in shower but overall we enjoyed our stay.

Thankyou josh and Megan so much for staying in your Bach it was great perfect size for all of us !! Great location as we walked to have dinner in the town centre and fished in the canals weren’t to far away! Sun on the deck on the evenings was great 😊 we will definitely be back!!!!!!!!

Lovely little home
Lovely, warm and cozy . This little home has everything you need. We really enjoyed our stay here. Thank you for allowing us to bring our dog. We did some lovely hikes in the area. The dog loved zooming in the snow and then warming up at the fire.

Two Nights in Twizel.
Thanks. Had all we needed….except it would be good to have had some newspaper or fire starters and some kindling. However, we made do with an egg carton we found and chopped some fresh kindling. We left in a rush so I’m sorry if we didn’t leave kindling for others. Thank you. Great location for a winter break to visit Ohau and Dobson ski fields.

Lovely warm little cottage
Great stay at this cosy and warm cottage, highly recommend, has everything you need and they let you have pets which was amazing. Fire was great, I was a bit worried it wouldn't heat the house as it looked small but it definitely did and it was super toasty. Kids appreciated the wifi, so did we as it gave us a bit of quiet time! Thanks so much for providing a comfortable stay the only thing that would have made our stay more enjoyable was if the fish in the canals let us catch them! Oh well just might have to come to Twizel again to try!

We had a great time at this place. The communication was super easy and quick and the place looks exactly like it does on the pictures. The neighborhood is very conveniently located and home is very quiet & warm! Would absolutely recommend to stay there!

Quiet getaway
Property was cosy - heat pump was so effective never bothered with the wood burner even though frosty outside. Beds were comfy and lounge was roomy. Tasty apples on tree in garden an added plus as we were there at harvest time. Glorious mountain scenery all around + short walk to town center with many restaurants - so good we never tried cooking.

Just what you need!
The house is minutes from the grocery store and close enough for our family to do day trips to Mt. Cook/Aoraki, Lake Pukaki, and the surrounding area. We loved sitting on the deck at night star gazing. Great place to unwind and relax if the weather is terrible. One morning it was chilly so we lit a fire in the stove in the living room. Loved it!
