Long story short, we never got our room but were charged for it. Lucky for me I put a hold on my CC. At 3pm, my check in time, I called to make sure the room was ready and was told it was not and there was no ETA for when it would be though I was told they would call me back. Th woman on the phone was very unapologetic and indifferent. She mentioned something about the maids having trouble turning the rooms. I let an hour and a half pass and called 5x with no answer. I left a message explaining that this was unacceptable and I would be putting a hold on my CC in case they tried to charge me and I would no longer be needing the room. At 9:30 PM a different person called asking if I was coming and told me they tried to charge my card but it was declined. I explained the situation to her and she was apologetic. The next day I called to make sure it was ok for me to take the lock off my CC and got someone else who was unaware of the situation, didn't offer me anything for my time but assured me they were sorry and the reservation had been canceled. I have two small children and was in town for an event. This whole situation was so chaotic and the lack of customer service I received was pretty appalling. The room was supposed to be $260 for an evening but they were trying to charge me $320. I also had to get a new card as the CC company was having issues getting the lock off which isn't the hotels fault but more bs I had to deal with because someone majorly dropped the ball.
