The front desk staff members were very friendly and helpful, but we did not experience the same thing at the bistro. My husband overpaid for an extremely stale bagel on Sunday morning. Thankfully there is First Watch restaurant next door to the hotel which was good. The courtyard with pool and hot tub is nice.

I needed a one night stay and was shocked at how high the prices were (discovered it was because the gem show is starting soon). When I’m traveling solo, I generally try to spend less than $100 a night but the places that were that price, you just KNEW were going to be awful. So I figured I’d splurge and stay somewhere ‘nice’ even though it was more like $200 a night. The lobby are was beautiful. The room, though nicely appointed, was a huge disappointment. NASTY stains on the couch and ottoman (I covered it with a towel so I could sit on it). Stained carpet (I kept my socks on). Mattress and pillows so hard I woke up with neck and back pain. Giving credit where due, bathroom was sparking clean. Staff was fine, although not memorably friendly. I just kept thinking to myself ‘doesn’t management have any kind of system to monitor/inspect maintenance issues like massively stained fabrics?” It looked like someone had perhaps spilled a water bottle on the couch and over time, the stain was turning black at the edges. Could’ve likely been easily cleaned with one of the DIY rug and upholstery cleaners. Definitely not a Marriott experience. The bedding, I get that some people LIKE hard mattresses or pillows. Oh well, I won’t be back, and will definitely think twice about dropping $200 at another Courtyard.

Extremely clean room and excellent location, however there were some issues with the building maintenance. The sliding glass door to patio was extremely difficult to open. Every time the door was closed and locked it would not reopen. Don’t know if then frame was bent or the track was out of alignment. The tub didn’t have a stopper, so you could only use the shower. The airport shuttle wasn’t available as advertised, was told by staff there wasn’t any insurance on the vehicle. I requested no cleaning service during the stay at check in but the room was cleaned twice during my 3 day stay. The king size bed was past its prime, one side sagged in the middle and hurt my back, the other side was extremely comfortable like it never been slept in. The coffee available in the room was awful, so bad that I had to go buy coffee every morning. On a better note there was a free breakfast buffet on the weekends with excellent coffee.
