"It was amazingly beautiful. The views of the surroundings in the afternoon and morning with the sun going down and rising are breathtaking. One can hike the mountain for viewpoint of the whole farming area. The staff is fun-tastic. The only thing is the staff's noise as they stay at the back of the guest rooms. "

"The room was comfortable if somewhat "dated". The old "box-type" TV must be replaced with a flat-screen wall mounted type as it is situated right over the bench provided to unpack a suitcase, resulting in a person bumping your head against the edge of the TV - could cause serious injury. The staff were extremely friendly and the food was good and reasonably priced!"

"The check in was poor as communication between Hotels.com and the hotel was non existent,my reservationwas not received by Avoca ,I think hotels.com is to blame here.Security guards at the establishment were very rude and unfriendly. "Unfortunately my first stay at a hotel on my home province was not great. They gave us a room that was basically in a basement. The worse thing was there was no power the room was duck and hot, it was not load shedding but an issue around the area. We ended up looking for accommodation somewhere else that had backup generators. So basically we had to pay again for another accommodation. Overall the place looks good and clean but being in a basement in the dark was a no no."
