Check in was a breeze. The staff was extremely caring from the front desk receptionist to the restaurant staff. I had surgery, so I have no voice. Everyone was so helpful and made sure I was taken well care of. The receptionist even gave me a little handwritten note thanking me for being a nice guest. She made sure the waitress in the restaurant knew of my problem. The waitress was also very attentive and very sweet. I love this hotel

Please use English signage if you want tourists.
Perfectly suited to what we wanted, as we travel to photograph wildlife and are not "into" cities. The only slight issue was that, in Quebec, for political reasons (I can only assume that as every other country in the world uses common sense) signs, including road signs, are not repeated in English. If you have no knowledge of French this can be dangerous in some circumstances, and does not allow compliance with hotel regulations unless there is an English-speaking member of staff present.

You are right to said that is politiques and in Québec everything is in french. We have no obligation to have some english staff. However we trying to do so. For the road signs is nothing we can do. Thank you for your stay.

Sitting by the river was a majestic backdrop for relaxing after a long drive. Restaurant was excellent and for us not speaking French they were great

Beautiful view of the river but no immediate place to swim in it however the hotel rooms and restaurant were great and clean and we would definitely come back and stay again! Thanks for the beautiful stay Quebec!

uncomfortable mattress, felt like sleeping on concrete. room was crowded with toe-stubbing obstacles. shower head was broken (and had poor water pressure) but bathroom was clean and updated otherwise. my room was in the basement and smelled musty as basements tend to do. the location and river were stunningly beautiful though. it was fine for a night but couldn’t sleep on that mattress more than once. fyi the walls and floor are paper thin and you can very clearly hear the room activity above and beside you: walking, sneezing, talking, snoring, etc.

Hotel is at amazing location, with hot jacuzzi and picturesque sun set view along the river. Definitely recommend!!
