A convenient overnight stop
This is a very good choice for an overnight stay en route. The room was functional, clean and comfortable. The location is quiet at night, but featureless otherwise. There are the usual restaurant chains nearby, or you can eat in the hotel. Access to the motorway is quick and easy.

Good quality room and facilities. Comfortable beds and beautiful bathroom. Cooked breakfast not to my taste. Frankfurter sausages and undercooked bacon.

Comfortable hotel Disabled faciltes need changing.
Originally I arrived at a nearby Campanile hotel in error. The hotel at Chambray was aware of this and I was booked in immediately to the "disabled" room as requested. This room was poorly designed for my requirements The wet room had no curtain hence the whole floor and toilet were soaked if the shower was used and the floor became very slippery! Th sink was of very usual design -the tap only operated if hands were under the tap and the basin has not plug, hence it cannot be filled prior to washing!

Absolute disaster - we didn't stay there! We couldn't get in! After a terrible road journey, due to bad weather, when we arrived at the hotel at exactly 23:00h it was all locked up. Not worried I tried to check us in on their 'Automatic Reception' machine, after trying four times and receiving 'Sorry, booking not found' on the screen, I tried calling the two 'Numbers in case of Emergency' displayed on the door .. no answer from either of them! I ma still trying to get my money refunded from them for the two pre-paid rooms that they were inaccessible to us. They have since admitted that the 'Automatic Reception' machine was out of order .. so why didn't it say so! Very angry about the whole thing .. and will NEVER try and stay there again!

Better than expected
This Campanille is situated in a relatively quiet area. The gentleman on reception was very helpful and pointed us in the direction of a good Italian restaurant as their restaurant was close being a Sunday. However we were able to buy drinks prior to going out and were served coffee on our return. The room was clean with a large comfy bed. Pet friendly for our 2 dogs who also enjoyed their stay.

Smart room, very effective heater, we stayed in January! Decent bathroom. Yes, Campanile rooms are small, but ok for an overnight stay. Close to A10, Lidl next door.

Value for money.
An OK hotel for a stopover. Arrived on a Sunday night only to be told that no hot food would be available that night, only a cold buffet. After a day on the road it wasn't a good start. Luckily there were other restaurants close by.

Just passing through..
We were just passing through on a trip to visit chateaux and look at possible wedding venues. This hotel was nicely decorated, and was very comfortable. The dogs were welcomed for a small fee per dog, and we were very happy with this pit stop.
