I usually stay in 4 star hotel and this one is not as good as I thought. The washroom has no ventilation and the building smells oldish. The parking attendant is not polite. Front desk gave me wrong receipt at checkout and I question about the bill - she did not apologize as a courtesy. Good things about this hotel: the bed is comfortable and it is dark and quiet for a good sleep; restaurant staff are sweet especially Jolanda and the breakfasts are great; the hotel allow us to extend check out time to 12:30 pm which we appreciate a lot; convenient location and safe to walk around and shop in nearby supermarket

Overall, nice stay. Rooms were clean and spacious, comfortable beds. Front desk staff who checked us in were welcoming and friendly. We travelled with another couple and they, as well as myself, called about our reservation multiple times over the week leading up to the reservation and left messages and nobody contacted us back. I got through once, the morning of our trip after calling 4 times back to back and they transferred me through to front desk. No answer. I called right back and had to call another 3 times until they answered me. I would have gave a higher rating but their customer service is seriously lacking and was very disappointing.

The property is a nice but busy hotel. The staff at check in was awfully, the manager was obnoxious. I had to wait 45 minutes for my room to be cleaned, I waited from 3:00pm until 3:45 before my room was ready. I was told the room wasn’t ready and I needed to wait. It made me late for my event.

Beautiful grounds, convenient to Don Valley takes you downtown & close to 401. King room was very clean, beautiful bed, spacious. Staff at the desk were very helpful & fruendly as was the staff Dwight who brought our bags to the room. Parking was so easy with photo liscence recognition fir entry & exit once you paid at the desk.
