A good Gem
This was a great find. Clean and convenient - highly recommend this place and would stay there again. Rooms are large and comfortable. Chantelle the receptionist was super helpful

The motel felt a little overpriced, no air conditioning but a large noisy fan did help with the night heat. Our view was over neighbouring backyard which felt awkward. Ok for one night

Clean tidy rooms with plenty of space. Well located with easy drive or walk to town, beach and gardens. No problems parking our hire car. We had a ground floor room that was easy to access. Maybe check access if you have booked a room upstairs.

Easy access in and out from both directions on the main road, no road noise inside the room (was staying in room 8, upstairs 2nd in from road). Enjoyed the large open space of the room, very clean and tidy.

We loved the space and cleanliness , the spa was also a great bonus,what really made us happy was the 3 bin system for rubbish recycling and compost 😍 over all fantastic stay

Have read other positive reviews but we must have struck a bad day. Our booking was made and paid for online but we were charged again on arrival and put in an incorrect room type. The woman said our preferred room type was taken by an elderly disabled person. However when I confirmed we had double paid and went back to check - suddenly the room I was able to prove we did book & pay for WAS available! So we shifted into the room but actually regretted it because it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. They lent us air freshener and did provide milk when asked. Hopefully others have better luck than us and don’t end up lugging heavy bags up and down the stairs. Otherwise is probably a nice enough motel.

On arrival I had to wait minutes before any staff member appeared. The situation of the motels is very pleasant, in tree-lined street and close to the Botannical Gardens. The cleanliness of the motel was only average with dust inside, and cobwebs on the deck windows, and dust around. Room size is excellent.
