"The bed was comfortable and car parking was available but this is where the positives stop. The room was rather cold at night (late December) yet you never feel the heating is on. The temp control in the room is set to "central " so you cannot change any settings from the room. The bathroom is very poor. "Very friendly and helpful staff and a great restaurant attached. We had a very spacious room on the top floor which was well equipped. Slightly in need of a refresh of decor but that added to the charm for us. Really lovely village and castle. Good walks in the local forest also"
