"I decided to stay at this hotel to sleep over during my trip home. The pool was dirty & unclean it had leaves in the pool. It is an indoor pool with large leave in it along with dirty. I was afraid to get in it. The breakfast was not good. There was no waffle maker as advertised. There was only cold cereal, but no lactose free milk. Instant oatmeal with prepackaged hard boil eggs. I do not recommend this hotel when others are close by. When checking in, the staff had no clue how to get me...

"I have stayed several times at the Canyo River Lodge on the Yakima River. Every time I am reminded of how beautiful the Yakima River canyon is and how easy a drive it is from Seattle. The lodge itself is a world class facility right on the river. The suites are lovely, the staff is excellent, and the restaurant has wonderful food. In addition there is one of the finest fly shops at the lodge that I have ever been in. They have guides for fishing, sporting clays, and hunting if you need help...

"Peaceful property, lovely views, friendly host. We stayed here on a trip primarily to go birdwatching, and it was a great area for that. There were a surprising number of different species we saw just on and around the ranch! (Tip: You might want to ask for or bring your own dishwashing sponge, especially if you don't use enough dishes to need the dishwasher; and might find the kitchen sink a little easier to wash up in yourself rather than the bathroom sink.)"
