The staff at Augusta Bay are what make this property shine. Friendly and warm, you immediately feel part of the family. The proximity to the beach and short stroll into George Town were perfect. The rooms are a little outdated but still clean and well maintained. Only disappointment was that the hotel restaurant wasn't open and there were limited options nearby. I was also surprised by the $10p/n Expedia fee I was charged on check-out which wasn't otherwise mentioned anywhere.

Really nice service from the staff. Room was dated but clean. All good except for the glass door on my room that you could not see through due to moisture. Overall very good

Staff were great - but no room cleaning or food except minimal breakfast. Must taxi to town - there are a couple of restaurants close by, but walking in the narrow road is suicidal!
