"This hotel is in an excellent location, a very central, beautiful neighborhood that to some extent remains an actual neighborhood with some Budapest residents, unlike many other nice hotels, which are in neighborhoods that cater almost exclusively to tourists. It’s also less than two blocks from the opera house, which is one of the most beautiful in the world. I stayed with my spouse in a junior suite, which is actually just a very large room with a sofa and a large round table with seating, and a bit of a divider. It was very comfortable, but doesn’t have the polish one can find in nice hotels in Western European cities, although to be fair the cost is also lower. The lighting was a bit on the cool side. The bed was rather firm and we availed ourselves of the offered added mattress topper after we arrived. There was a large selection of TV/ streaming options. Included is an absolutely fantastic breakfast buffet, with an enormous selection of hot and cold foods, breads, sweets, juices, coffee drinks etc. We generally had a big leisurely breakfast and then did not eat again until the mid to late afternoon. Housekeeping was excellent."
